A change of Fate

Arias and Niaris waited, the elder walked out, seeming more weak.. he coughed, but then his eyes glowed, they were dim, but then he spoke "the war is coming soon, before the war, however, light and dark must join forces.. they must balance good and bad, while recreating the 5 kingdoms, however.. a great sacrifice must be made, the bond between man and thresian will be broken, there will be betrayal, the outcome is unknown of who will win.. but-" the old cat started coughing then collapsed, the 2 others ran over to help the old cat up ".... i am dying.... let me be at peace.." he said quietly.. seeming bitter, respecting his wishes, both left him alone there

Niaris and Arias both made an announcement that day, the border between the kingdoms was broken, and 2 became 1.. the two lived together happily with humans

then something happened.. Man went corrupt, they saw danger towards the creatures that protected them for years.. they forced the creatures down, making sure they we're the dominant ones..

then during a storm, Niaris and Arias stood against the group, protecting 5 kittens, A black cat with blue ears and red wings, a white cat with red wings and a red tail, a pink cat with purple wings and purple lines, a black cat with a red marking on the forehead and no eye pupils, along with teeth that jagged up and down, and a young tiger like kitten... at the head of the humans stood a cat that looked a lot like Niaris, the cat was grinning triumphantly, the hunters advanced, Arias and Niaris quickly grabbed only 3 of the kittens, trying to grab the 2 others but missing before they could get away..

the kittens both cried in pain as the big cat killed them in cold blood.. the parents watched every last bit of life fade from them.. then flew off toward some place for refuge..

they found an old house, both walked in and set the kittens on a small ripped blanket, Niaris comforted Arias.. then looked at the kits "we can't let them be found.. you understand that... right?" Niaris said "they'll have to stay hidden from the world, or they'll be killed..."

The kitten with the red marking fell under the blanket, then accidentally ripped it over his small head, it looked like a mask and the kitten seemed to be enjoying itself, Arias fell asleep, protecting the kittens with her wings.. while Niaris protected the entire group..
