(Kayleighs POV)

-sunday night-

Tomorrow is going to be my first day in school. I live here for one week now and I am missing my old home so badly. The only good thing is that David and Madison are here. I really like living with them because I can be alone as much as I want.

The first three days I called my parents very much. But I guess I have to move on and don't call them that often.

David is working since day four and Madison is going to school tomorrow, just like me. I really like the fact that Madison is going to the same school as I am. It makes it more easy.

-Monday morning-

"Kayleigh, what are you going to wear? Because I have struggles with finding the good clothes." Madison is standing in front of me while she's holding a black t-shirt in one hand and a red blouse in the other. She is making a sad face because she hates it when she can't make a choice.
"Im going to wear my black skinny jeans and my turquoise sweater and and my leather jacked." I smile at her.
"Well, what do you think I have to wear?"
"You can wear that red blouse with dark-blue skinny jeans." I walk into her room and grab her skinny jeans. I give the jeans to her and take the black t-shirt from her.
"Here you go." I put the shirt into her closet and leave her alone.

-at school-

Madison and I are walking into the school when I see her. She has black, spiky hair and is very pale. She sits with four other people and she looks my way. Then she smiles at me and I give her a smile in return.
"You know that girl?" Madison asks, while she's looking at the black haired girl.
"No, but she looks nice." Just when I say that, the girl walks over toward us.
"Hello, I'm Alice. Nice to meet you!" She smiles and something about her smile feels familiar.
"Hey, I'm Kayleigh and this is Madison." Alice looks at Madison and smiles at her.
"It's nice to meet you, Alice." Madison smiles back.
"So, you two are new here huh? Are you sisters? Twins?"
"Yeah, we're new here, but no, we're not twins or sisters. Madison is my brothers fiancé."
"Well, congratulations then! And I'm sure you'll love it here!" Then the bell rings and Alice says goodbye.

-at lunch-

I'm walking into the cafeteria and Alice walks next to me. We just had English together and she asked if I wanted to sit with her and her family. When we're at her table, I can see the four other people Alice sits with more clearly. There are three boys and one other girl. The first boy is muscular and has black, curly hair. The second boy has blonde hair and looks like he is in pain. The last boy has bronze coloured hair. He is the only one that doesn't look at me. The other girl has blonde hair and sits next to the muscular boy. "Kayleigh, meet Emmett, Jasper, Edward and Rosalie. Guys, this is Kayleigh." Alices voice is very happy, I bet she likes introducing new people.
"Hey Kayleigh, it's nice to meet you!" Emmett says with a big schmirk on his face. I bet he already likes me, just like Alice. Then Edward stands up and walks outside. Jasper quickly follows him.
"Don't mind them, it's okay." Alice looks at me with a gentle smile.
