Heejin adjusted the strap of her backpack, happily skipping towards the school gates. But her happiness was short lived as she saw the commotion forming in the hallway. Her curiosity got the best of her and allows her feet to lead her to the crowd. She pushes her way through only to see one person clutching her chest.
Son Hyejoo.
Heejin mutters her name under her breath as she stares at the girl in pity. The longer she stared, the more she noticed the bullets going pass through Hyejoo, and the more she sees the fingers the students point at her. Their gazes met momentarily before Hyejoo immediately broke the contact and hurriedly walked away.
Heejin was snapped out of her trance, as she saw the girl scurried off. She continued pushing pass through the crowd and chased after Hyejoo. She knows that Hyejoo needs someone to lean on. And she knows, that should be her.
