Heejin was glad Hyejoo has stopped crying after a few minutes of getting half of her shirt drenched with tears. She decided they should just skip school for the day. Heejin sent a quick text to Hyunjin who has been spamming her non stop, telling her to cover up for the two of them. Hyunjin's approval became their cue to leave the premises.
They went through hell just to go pass through the wide, glass windows designated for each room. Because of ducking too much, Hyejoo lost balance and fell with a thud. Heejin's eyes widened and quickly pulled her away. Luckily, they disappeared around the corner before the homeroom teacher could see them. And as soon as they reached the end of the corridor, Heejin lets out a breathy laugh, "seriously Hyejoo. No offense but you're bad at stealth." She joked and helped the girl stand up, "up you go. We still have to climb the gate while the guard still isn't here." Heejin said, pointing to the high metal gates.
Hyejoo immediately starts shaking her head as she backed away, "H..heejin. I don't think we can climb that." She muttered, her eyes still focused on the gate. "I was just kidding, we will go climb the low walls." She reassured, walking to the direction of the brick wall. Heejin sent a sly wink to Hyejoo and jumped over the wall with ease. "C'mon Hye! You can do it! You're tall anyways!" Heejin cheered from the other side of the wall, Hyejoo sighed and slowly climbed the wall instead of jumping. "Don't look at me like that, i'm not as athletic as you." The taller girl remarked and rolled her eyes, Heejin emitted a laugh and slung an arm over Hyejoo's shoulder. Suprisingly, Hyejoo didn't push her arm away. She was never fond of skinship. "I'm sorry, so where do you want to go? Do you want to eat first? It's my treat." Heejin offered with a smile.
"Anywhere is fine as long as i am with you."
