What's his problem? I wondered. As i walked away from the house i could feel the hairs on the back of my neck raising. I turned around and a lightning bolt cracked the sky. "Jason" a deep voice said. "Look up" i looked up, and when i did i, for the first time finally saw my father.  Zeus. He didn't look like i imagined he would, he was wearing black pants, black leather boots, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket. "Jason, long time no see, how have you been?" i couldn't answer. I mean, i was in shock, here my dad, the all powerful zeus, decided to leave his throne upon MT. OLYMPUS, to come see me? I mean really? And then he asks me how i'm doing? Well, first of all, Hera stole my memory, secondly, i was almost killed by Gaea, and thirdly, i almost got my ass kicked by the son of poseidon for watching in on his wife, but then again it was Thalia's idea. I managed to answer him with a "I'm fine." But he knew that something was bothering me. He walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "I know what happened last night Jason. I know why you are worried." I looked up into his eyes and seen just how kind they really where. "Don't worry, i'll be here. I must go but before i do, i have something to give you. He then handed me a golden coin, it looked just like the one i used to have, except it had a lightning bolt instead of a battle axe. "Thanks dad." i said. But when i looked up he was gone. I suddenly felt very lonely, but i remembered the coin. On a hunch i flipped it, and just like the last coin, on mid-spin, it flattened into a giant golden circle. I caught it. As i studied the shield, i realized that it looked strangely familiar. And then i looked at the shield and dead center was Medusa's severed head. Covered in Celestial Bronze. I smiled, Aegis. I turned around and headed back to my cabin. As soon as my head hit the pillow, i fell asleep.
