"If they move her Gloriana you know they'll never operate on her until we pay the whole bill". Aunt Tilly explained...
"I'm gonna go talk to them". I left.

"Sir you have to understand that my mother is dying in there".
"But Miss, I've explained this several times to you. I can't operate on her without a payment planned down".
"Do you even have a heart Sir?. My mother is going to die soon and all you care about is money.!". I practically screamed at him.
"You think your mother is the only patient we've got. Miss Gloriana. This hospital is filled with more than one hundred persons and they are all patients seeking medical attention. So if you'll excuse me, I have patients to attend to". The doctor said and left.
I stood for a while thinking about how many people needed his help.. he was right about that. So many patients in here needed his help. The nurses probably helped a little around here..
"Gloriana. I want to help ok". Eric said from behind me.
"What?!. You're here?. How did you get here?".
"That doesn't matter. Right now we need to see the doctor before he moves your mom down the list".
"You followed me?!". I gasped.
"Does that really matter?".
"I think it does"..
"Gloriana let's get to your mother's room okay".
He practically dragged me.
When we got there my mom was no longer in her room..
"Where's mom.?".
"She's been moved down the list Gloriana". Aunt Tilly didn't even give me a single glance.
"What?!".
"Let me take you there". She said.
That's when she saw Eric.
"Who's this Gloriana".
"He's a friend". I said.
"Nice to meet you Mrs". Eric greeted.
"I'm sorry but this isn't a good time". She said .
"I'm sorry". Eric replied.
Aunt Tilly took us to the new room. Mom was already there, her heart monitor beeping reminded me that I still had time.
"Mom. I'm so sorry I couldn't help honestly I..."
"Don't blame yourself Gloriana. We all couldn't help.". Aunt Tilly said
"I'm so sorry Mom".
Aunt Tilly embraced me and I couldn't help but cry on her shoulder.
Some nurses and a doctor came in.
"We're sorry to break this moment but we have to move your mother out". A nurse said.
"Excuse me?!. You just moved her down the list now you wanna take her down again!. Do you people even have a heart?!".
They've messed with me long enough.
"Actually Miss Gloriana we've received a million dollars payment on your mother's health and we're taking her to surgery now".
"What?!."
And that's not an angry what, it's a surprised what.
"Yes. Excuse us." Another guy said.
They took my mother out and I'm still here shocked.
Aunt Tilly couldn't even move.
And then there's Eric, pretending like he wasn't the one who paid.
"Eric?. Mind explaining what just happened?".
In all sincerity I like the fact that he helped my mom payed her bills but a bitch got pride okay.
"I don't know anything about this.. honestly I don't have up to a million dollars for your mother's bills".
"He's right. I don't pay my bodyguards a million dollars monthly Gloriana". Queen Moira said.
She literally appeared out of nowhere.
"Your majesty!". Eric said.
It's clear that he's just seen a ghost.
"Queen Moira?!".
Both me and Aunt Tilly said in collision.
"Gloriana Jules and Tilly Martins. Long time no see."
