The red dress

Chapter 3 part 1

You could say I was getting ready but as you know I hate dressing up.

I just got a purple shirt and jeans with my sneakers and put them on. The truth is I never knew how to dress up so I never did and I got stuck as a tomboy.

I was going out of my apartment when I saw a guy looking at me with his green eyes. I couldn't speak cause there was a hot guy standing outside my apartment.

"Hi nice to meet you I'm Markos Lombardi I just moved up in the penthouse.",he said.

"Hi I'm Ari is it just me or have we meet before?",I ask

"Actually I'm the owner of the Lombardi fashion company",he says casually.

"Oh that's why, I recognized you from a billboard"

"Oh yeah,so I came here if you wanted to go to dinner with me, so I can know you better"

"Uh yeah sure let me just call someone"

Ok I felt bad but I canceled Jason and told him if it was ok if he came instead tomorrow,he said sure no problem but I felt bad cause instead of hanging out with Jason I was going with a guy I just met .

I went with Markos to dinner and I had fun he told me how he has 1 brother and 1 sister and I told him how I have 2 brothers.

We switched numbers to get in contact another day and we went home together. He dropped me off in my apartment and he went to his penthouse.

When I got in my apartment I heard my phone ringing and I answered and it was my sister in law and I answered.

"Hello"

"Hi Ari it's em I was calling you cause I need you to do me a favor I have a friend who is a cosmetologist and wants to work independent, could you please give her a job, she's the best .",em says

"Sure just tell her to come to the office so I can meet her ", I tell her

The next thing I know I hear a squeal come from em that I had to move the phone off my ear.

Em said thank you and said bye and I just hanged up and went to bed thinking of Markos.

The next day I woke up happy because I had a dream of Markos.

I ate breakfast and then I went and got some dark jeans and a blue shirt with converse.

I was getting in the elevator when I saw Markos inside looking at his phone.

When he looked up he smiled and put his phone away.

"Good morning are you going to work?",he asks

"Good morning yeah I am why?",I ask

"Because I want you to have lunch with me in a restaurant that just opened and I heard that it's really good. Do you want to come with me?"

"Yeah at what time do I meet you there ", I ask

"Come when your lunch starts"

We make plans and we go outside the elevator and separate to go work.

I get to my office and I see em and her friend I tell them to come in .

"Hi my name is Ari"

"Hello miss Barnes I'm Rosalba Lombardi I'm from Italy and just moved with my family here just 1 month ago."

"Call me Ari that's what everyone calls me so you studied cosmetology"

"Yeah and I want to use it somehow so I told em and she told me about you "

"Well I can see that you studied in your form and I see you already as a friend so you're hired you start tomorrow at 9 and leave at 3 cause I noticed that you have a kid and he need his mom"

"Thank you ok I'll be here at 9 and I'll bring my stuff",she said while she was looking at me with a smile.
