Madison, Wisconsin. I was told I'd love it here, but lately im beginning to question how well my parents actaully know me. its January, and I'm just now starting school here. I'm not sure what my parent's reasoning was for moving in the middle of the year, but my interrogation of the situation was of no use, since I am currently standing in front of Lincoln High School. It's my sophmore year this year, so everyone else already knows their way around the school. Well everyone except for me of course. It's about 18 degrees outside as I pull up to the front doors, so most people are still inside. But there are a few stragglers who like to stay outside until they freeze their asses of. I can add them to my list of people to steer clear of. Coming from Massachusetts I'm already used to the cold, but I rather enjoy having my ass in its rightful place.

" I'm telling you Brad, you'll love it here! Just give it a chance. "

Ah, the infamous words of a mom trying too hard to get their kid to adjust to a new place. I think she was trying to convince herself more than me.

" Alright mom. "

I'm not supposed to know this, but the main reason we moved here was because my mom's been kind of depressed lately and moving to her hometown was what she needed.

" Thanks sweetie. " She said with a greatful smile. " You know how much this means to your father and I. "

" Of course. I gotta go now, bye mom. "

" Bye, I love you so much Brad. "

" I love you too, mom. "
