Everyone put their hands on the planchette. We asked questions, we laughing at the answers, fooling around. it didn't seem like this was bad, so I don't know why my mom forbid me from playing it. The planchette started making figure eights, and I remember that ment something bad.
"You guys, we have to stop, the board is making figure eights." I was ignored.
"You guys! Please I want to stop!" I pleaded. Matt had my hands pinned to the piece. I welled up, trying to yank my hands away. I never should have played that stupid game. Then the planchette flew off the board, and I felt like someone had punched me in the stomache. I immediently fell ill.
"Sawyer!"
"Sawyer, please wake up I'm sorry!"
"Oh god, Sawyer we're so fucking sorry!"
I could barely hear my friends voices. I just knew Matt was the one who swore, because Greg and Joie never did. I opened my eyes and sat up, struggling to regain my balance.
"W-what happened?" I asked nervously, not really wanting the answer.
"We were just playing the ouija board, when all of a sudden it started making figure eights and the planchette flew off the board. You then flew backward and started shaking and your back! It was making all these weird shapes, I can't even explain it. I'm never playing that fucking thing again I'm so fucking sorry, Sawyer." Matt apologised. I didn't know what to think... my thoughts were clouded and I couldn't focus on anything. I felt myself drift away, and blackness fell over me.
I woke up in my own bed, with my mother sitting next to me holding my hand.
"Oh my god, Sawyer are you okay? Greg brought you home and explained everything! How could you disobey my like that?" she was half angry, half relieved I was okay.
"I'm so sorry mom, Greg and I didn't want to play, but Matt made us." I explained.
"Okay darling, I believe you. But I am calling a priest just to bless you and this house, because of what happened to you. it's for the best." she
urged. I just nodded.
