⑶ Johnny

It was 3 AM and I was still driving. We couldn't keep resting. We need to get to the house. I need to keep my family safe.

I continued driving and felt myself start to drift off. I quickly shook my head and tried to stay awake. My eyes were closing again until I felt myself hit something or someone. I stepped on the brakes and Taeyong jolted awake.

We stared at each other and I was gonna leave the car but he held me back "No Johnny. Just keep driving" he told me and I sighed. He's right. If it was a zombie then it was already dead anyways. If it was human then it's dead now and will become a zombie.

I started the car again and sped off. My mind kept wandering back to whatever I hit. What if it was a human and they were still alive? What if they needed help?

I shook my head and decided to ignore it. I need to save my family.

I felt myself drifting off again. I groaned and shook my head. I felt Taeyong's hand on my lap "It's my turn to drive" he said and I shook my head "If we stop the car to switch now then a zombie will come" I said and Taeyong shook his head "If you keep driving and fall asleep on us, our kids and those 2 boys we found will become zombies" he growled and I sighed.

I pulled over and we quickly switched sides. Taeyong turned the car back on and smirked "See? Everything is fine" He exclaimed and started driving. I smiled tiredly and nodded. I stared at the road ahead. The noise the car made eventually lulling me to sleep.

5 HOURS LATER

I opened my eyes to the sun shining. I sat up and noticed I was alone in the car. My eyes widened and I rushed out "Taeyong! Yuta! Doyoung!" I yelled out. No response.

I was starting to panic until I heard someone yell "Johnny shut up!" I turned and saw Taeyong was walking towards me with 3 kids trailing behind him. I quirked an eyebrow "Who are they? Where are the boys? Jaehyun!? Where's Mark!? We saved them! We can't lose them cause then it all goes to waste-" Taeyong pulled me in for a kiss.

I sighed into the kiss and he pulled away "I told you to shut up" he repeated and I nodded. He smiled at me and shook his head "Yuta and Doyoung are taking Jaehyun to the restroom somewhere in the wood and Mark is sleeping against that tree over there" he said pointing towards a tree where the toddler was sleeping.

I nodded "what about-" "they're our new kids!" He exclaimed happily and I tilted my head to the side. He frowned and sighed dramatically "This is Kun, he's 12! That's Sicheng, he's 8! And that is Jungwoo, he's 4!" I nodded absentmindedly "So like, like how did you, how did you find them?" I stuttered out and Taeyong just smiled at me and shrugged.

I stared at him questioningly but he just laughed. I turned when I heard running. Yuta, Doyoung and Jaehyun ran out of the woods "Dad! Zombie!" Doyoung yelled and Taeyong gasped. I turned my head towards where Mark was sleeping. I was gonna run towards him but the zombie came out from the tree next to him.

Taeyong gasped and I looked at him "Get the kids in the car. Now" he shook his head "But Mark-" "I'll get Mark. Take them now and start the car" he stumbled back a little and nodded. The kids rushed to the van and the zombie started making his way towards me.

I put my hand on the gun I had in my pocket. If I use it the sound will attract more. If I don't I might die and Mark won't make it.

The zombie started running towards me and in panic I kicked the thing back. It fell backwards and I took the time to run towards Mark. I picked up the sleeping toddler and rushed back to the car while the zombie was rushing towards me again.

I slammed the door shut while holding Mark. Taeyong started the car as the zombie stood in front of us staring at us with its mutilated face.

"Run it over"

"For once I agree with Yuta!"

"That's Yuta-Hyung to you, Doyoung!"

I shushed them as Taeyong slammed his foot on the gas. You could see blood and body parts on the floor as we drove away.

"I want my Mommy!" Jungwoo cried out and Taeyong sighed. Kun hugged him and nodded "I do to Jungwoo" he tried to soothe the crying boy. Everyone else was quiet. Nobody dared to say anything else.

"Don't worry Jungwoo! She's over there! Say hi!" Sicheng pointed at a zombie as we drove away. Jungwoo choked out a sob and Kun hit Sicheng on the leg.

"Look that's so cool! She can still run in a straight line even though she has no eyes!"

"WWWAAAHHH!!! MOMMY!!!"

"SHUT UP YUTA! GOD DAMN IT!"
