*Flashback*
“Will you marry me?”
“Who else could I ever marry?! Yes Alfie, Yes”
Zoe’s POV:
It has been a little over one year since I spoke those words to my fiancé, Alfie Deyes. And it felt like forever ago. But we decided to hold off on the wedding until the time is right. Enough about that, it was time to make our flat ready for the two little angels to come stay with us. One of my best friend’s twins are coming to stay with us. It was such a shame what had happened to her.
When my best friend Ebony turned 23, she was knocked up by a random dude who spiked her drink and she ended up getting pregnant. Unfortunately, when she told her family then disowned her and she had to raise the child by her self. But it wasn’t just one child, she had twins. I was the only friend she had that stayed with her during it all. So when the twins were born she had a plan just in case anything were to happen, so Alfie and I were said to be the godparents, and we are. When the twins were 7 months old, she found out that their father had died of a drug overdose.
Continuing now, Alfie and I had to get our flat ready for the twins to stay here for two weeks while Ebony is out on a business trip to Germany. So we had to ready for the twins.
Our flat has one extra room so got out our old twin blow up matrasses and I connected them to the machine that blows them up.
Alfie’s POV:
Today the twins are coming to stay! I am actually pretty excited for them to come because it will be like when Zoe and I have kids. I could hear the machine that blows up the beds and I went over to see Zoe.
“Hey are we all ready”
“Yeah all they need to do is get here”
I went over and hugged her and while she was in my embrace I said, “Ready?”
“Yes”
