Chapter 2: A Crazy Reaction

Once you entered the hallway that led you to the library, you slowed down your pace to catch your breath. Feeling the weight of someone's body on top of you, you turned around to see Ten's head on your shoulder trying to catch his breath too.
He looks into your eyes as he starts to speak, "That was the fastest speed walking I have ever experienced. Why did you need to drag me!" He gets off your body as he looks up to regain his breath.
"Remember, paper. I need to do my homework." You look at Ten after you regained your breath.
"Oh yeah. But did we have to leave Taeyong like that?" Ten asked as both of you walked towards the library, "You know he's new and being a friend on his first day won't hurt him."
You stop walking and sigh out loud, exaggerating this action by throwing your hands up. "Fine. Let's go back to the cafeteria and asks if he wants to tag along to our expedition to look for boring books." You turn a complete one-eighty and start walking your way towards the cafeteria with Ten trailing behind you.
"Really? Can't wait to make this duo into an awesome trio." Ten says as he walks a little bit quicker to match your speed. He starts humming a happy tune with a little jump in his step.
You shake your head a little because of this action. You turn your head towards him, "If he doesn't accept our request we won't push further. It's his decision on who he wants to be acquaintances with."
Ten laughs at your statement, "Acquaintances, really (Y/N)? You make it seem like you don't even want to consider being his friend."
"Look Ten. I just don't want to put my hopes up. I don't have him in any of my classes." You respond back as you push the doors of the cafeteria open.
You look back at Ten and he makes a face. "Then you're going to get to know him."
You raise one of your eyebrows at him, "What do you mean?"
The male laughs as he continues to walk and pull you with him. "You're going to ask Taeyong if he wants to hang out with us. And if you say no, forget my help completely." You grumble a few curse words here and there as you look up to Ten, noticing a smile on his face. "Deal, (Y/N)?"
You sigh out a quick 'fine' as you roll your eyes and stop walking. Both of you turn your heads, looking for said male until your eyes land on a table. You noticed a specific male's light-colored hair and poke Ten. He turns to you as you point to the table. You look at Ten in the eyes and start doing your puppy dog eyes.
