Reader's POV-

When I had first met Zeref I had no idea about his curse.I was Mavis's friend and I had met him through her.He had agreed to teach us magic.I was happy that he was there to help,but I noticed that he never smiled and strayed away from touch.At first I couldn't understand why,but after a while I confronted him about I an he told me of his curse.He couldn't touch any living creature or it would die.I asked if that was why he refused any of our advances to hug or touch him in any way.He replied saying that he did I because he didn't wish to harm us.We were the first people he'd met in a long time that didn't fear him.I teased him saying that he was about as scary as a new born kitten.He laughed before shrugging it off.As time went on we grew closer and closer until finally,one day,he asked me to be his girlfriend.Overjoyed I said yes without hesitation for I knew that I loved him.The next few years we spent lookin for ways to either lift his curse or make me immune to it effects so that we could touch and kiss.We eventually found a way to make me immune.We were able to touch...but he still killed anything that got to close to him.I knew it killed him inside,but there was nothing we could do.I could feel the depression and guilt eating away at him.Bu I never imagined that it could cause this.

"Come on baby,don't fear the reaper.Baby take my hand,don't fear the reaper.We'll be able to fly,don't fear the reaper.Baby i'm your man."

I had never expected for him to come up to me one day and propose the idea of couple suicide to me.A first I though he was just saying some sick joke...until I realized that he was,in fact,completely serious.I asked him why he wanted to do it.Why he wanted me to do I with him.His answer was simple.
"I can't stand it anymore!I kill every living thing that comes close to me.I hate it and I can't live with it anymore.As for you...I want you to do it with me so that well always be together.For eternity.Because that's how long i'll love you."
After he had said that I realized just the depression and guilt had not only been eating away at him but had been slowly killing him from the inside out.And that it had been this way for months.I also realized that there was nothing I could do to help ease the pain and self-destruction.

"Valentine is done.Here but now they're gone.Romeo an Juliet.Are together in eternity,Romeo and Juliet.40,000 men and women everyday,like Romeo and Juliet.40,000 men and women everyday,redefine happiness. Another 40,000 coming everyday. We can be like they are."

In the end I asked him to let me think about it.He said alright and asked me to remember that,no matter what,I was still his Juliet and that he was my Romeo and that no matter what happened he would always love me.I almost broke down right then and there.

"Come on baby,don't fear the reaper.Baby take my hand,don't fear the reaper.We'll be able to fly,don't fear the reaper.Baby i'm your man."

In the end I realized that I loved him to much to let him suffer alone.And that I was selfish enough to never want to let him go.I would continue to forever love him.There was nothing I could do about it.

"Love of two is one.Here,but now they're gone.Came the last night of sadness.And it was clear she couldn't go on."

"I can't do it!I can't live without you please,Zeref,don't leave me alone!I'll do whatever you want,whatever it takes!Just please,please,stay with me forever!"I yelled over his dead body in our bedroom.

"Then the door was open and he appeared.The candles blew then disappeared.The curtains blew and he appeared,saying don't be afraid."

I look up as I hear the door open to see him standing there.The curtains and candles blew and I knew that,somehow,I wasn't dreaming.He was really in front of me.I reached for him before flinching back,afraid.He smiled as he softly spoke to me.
"Don't be afraid."
Reaching his hand out to me,I grasped onto it and let him lead me into eternity with him.

"Come on baby,and she had no fear.A and she ran to him,then they started to fly.The look backward,and said goodbye.She had become like they are.She had taken his hand,she had become like they are.Come on baby,don't fear the reaper."

The last thing I remembered was a bright white light before we flew.I knew then that we would forever be together.For eternity.

"Romeo and Juliet,are together for eternity."
