Chapter one: Anonymous

A phone sat vibrating on the bedside table as a girl entered the room with a towel around her hair. "You can use the bathroom now Chris" the white haired boy picked up his phone, unlocking it he saw it was a message from James.

I know your always late so here's your reminder to meet us at the cafe at 6:15pm. Don't be late or you'll miss our strategy meeting.

Looking over the message Chris rolled his eyes tossing his phone onto the bed at his side before standing and walking past the shorter girl. "Thanks babe, wanna get our stuff and load up the car?" In response she moved the towel from her hair and face smiling at him. "Will do l, don't take to long in there".

A blacked haired man in a suit was in the passenger seat of a car sighing after sending chris the text. "He'll be fine, doesn't matter if he's a little late nutty" he sighed again. "Raven I wish you would call me by my real name when we're not in game" this received a giggle from the formly named driver. "Even after all these years your still ethier super formal or a troller" this got a simple shrug followed by a smirk. "You know what you signed up for when going out with me" Raven rolled her eyes with a half smile. "Can't argue with that".

Meanwhile at a cafe downtown

"Yeah! I won!" Exclaimed a brown haired girl as she stood up raising her hands into the air. "That's petra five don zero" stated a white haired boy with one green and one red eye. "Shut it panda, why don't you play her, see if you can win!" The boy with short balck hair and a red with white stripped jacket said in anger. "Because don I know I'll lose, and I doubt your sister konno could even beat her" hearing this konno the girl with long brown hair and a red scarf snuggly wrapped around her neck huffed."i could win.. I just don't wanna play, so here's Chris and silica?" "Blu- i mean silica said they would pick up her sister ora before coming" Allina softly spoke from konnos side having stopped drinking her soda.

The bell of the cafe rang as chris, silica and orange walked inside before spotting the group and walking over. "Hey guys!" Shouted silica happily before she was hushed by her black haired sister ora known in game as orange. "Silica.. please don't shouted in such a public place, you'll make a sence" "oh.. right, sorry sis" silica said scratching her cheek. "Glad you two get along now" stated Chris as he slumped into a seat next to panda. "Nutty and Raven not here yet?" Asked ora. "Nah they should be so- oh there they are now" Allina said pointing the the entrance.

Walking up to the group James looked at Chris. "Wow.. you beat us here, must be a reco-" "shut it cashew" Chris hissed back. "Now now twinkle toes no need to be cranky before a boss fight" James smirked. "Only time I've seen him accept that nickname is from frewby" exclaimed konno. James stood at the end of the table as everyone sat then turned to him. Silica next to kaz, next to him panda and Petra, on the other side was don next to konno, who sat by Allina who was joined by ora.

"Alright, let's begin, what we know is that we all received a message from an anonymous player of ordinal heart saying that a powerful boss would spawn near here, and we all know that a powerful boss gives great points toward our rank, I've got a plan but since we don't know what the boss will be we may need to improvise in the field" the group in front of him nodded. "Am I the only one who thinks it's some trap? We've had run ins with some shady fuc-" before he could finish blue gave him a Stern look which seemed to make him go quite. "Yes kazy, it's a long shot but it was for all of us, with this group we should be fine"
