It was the awards season and she felt nervous. She was invited to a big event of the year, the SMA, and it still hadn't registered properly inside her head. She cannot believe it still, slapping her cheek several more times until she was scolded by her stylist for ruining her make up. As the van rolled closer to the red carpet, she felt her heart thumping even faster. It finally stopped and the clicking sounds of the camera already surrounded the van. With a deep breath, she opened the door and smiled as soon as she stepped out from the van.

She won't admit it but hearing the crowd cheering for her gave the confidence she very much needed and strutted the red carpet the way she always slayed. Until she came to a halt, when the most unexpected person to show up at the event revealed himself as he was waving and smiling towards the cameras. And boy, he looked so dashing. She tried to sneak past the photo taking session but the mission was aborted when one of the cameraman called her name. And he too, turned towards her and smiled like she was his favourite person in the world. It made her heart tachycardic.

"Hyunah-ssi, can you pose with Taehyung-ssi please?"

She was taken aback by the sudden request, but confidently walked to stand by the taller guy. They smiled after making sure a decent distance existed between them.

"Can the both of you stand closer please?"

They both looked elsewhere but each other. But did as they were told and posed again for the camera. Thankfully, the camera crew seemed satisfied by this and finally let them go inside.

"What are you doing here?"

She asked, breaking the silence between them as they walked together towards the venue of the event. Taehyung only shrugged.

"Believe it or not, I also don't know. My manager said I was invited and here I am"

He grinned his usual boxy, teethed smile.

"You?"

"Me? Believe it or not, I was nominated this year. Keep your fingers crossed for me, yeah?"

Smirking at his words being thrown back at him, he casually pushed away some stray hair in front of her face making her flustered but squealing inside anyway.

"If it's you, then it's yours"

Smiling, he made his way towards his seat while she had to handle some things backstage. Eventually she took her seat which was coincidentally the same seat as the Red Velvet member she had got to know through a cat, also because she was the former lover of her current crush. They all bowed at each other as a sign of respect before taking their seat.

"We meet again, Hyunah-ssi"

"Please unnie, just Hyunah"

The beautiful lady smiled, so does she. The two ladies kicked it off so well people would thought those two were friends from the start, much to a certain model's delight. Unbeknownst to him, Joohyun knew he was staring and it confirmed her guess of Hyunah being his soft spot.

"Taehyung was staring at you"

She said, surprising the girl whom once they made eye contact, he waved excitedly, eyes turning into crescent moons. It was the kind of happiness she never saw in him before, and she was glad he was upfront about it, admitting it to her first. It was almost 5, 7 years she thought,  they have been together since she could remember. Along the way she always thought they would end up together. But that was not the case now, his heart was with another, just like hers was now someone else's. And this might just sound crazy but she thought that Taehyung having a crush on the ultra sexy Hyunah was so cute. It made her smile a little despite the fact that she was supposed to be jealous of the younger.
