After Justine's parents die in a car accident, she is sent to live with a new family, in a new town. The new family includes the Mom and Dad and their three fosters sons named Cameron, Shawn and Dakota.
Mom and Dad won't tell us where we are going, but all we know is that we have to go on a plane and it'll just be the four of us.
Since we have to be on a plane, I decided to wear sweatpants, a random t-shirt and a zip up hoodie. Since it's 6 am and Cameron is still sleeping, I just got changed in our room.
Once I was fully dressed, I grabbed my duffel bag and went downstairs. Usually I'm the one waiting for everyone else, but today I was the last one to get downstairs.
"Ready?" Dad asked as he picked up his and Mom's bags. "Yeah." I answered, then we all left the house and walked over to the car.
I helped Dad put all of our stuff in the trunk, while mom warmed up the car and Justine fell back asleep. Once all of the bags were in the trunk, I shut the door, then Dad and I got into the car.
It's about an hour drive to the airport, so Mom and Dad talked quietly, while Justine and I slept some more.

We are now at the airport. We've gone through all of the security checks and dropped off our bags, and are now sitting and waiting for our plane to be ready for us to board.
While we waited a girl saw me and apparently she's seen Hayes' vines of me singing. She asked for a picture so I agreed and took a selfie with her. After that I sat back down and waited for my plane.

We sat there for about thirty minutes until we were able to finally board. We got on pretty quickly. Justine and I sat on one row and Mom and Dad sat behind us.
"I'm so tired." Justine pouted as she laid her head on my shoulder. I just laughed and put my earbuds in my ears.
She did the same, then put her phone on airplane mode and listened to music, while she started reading her favorite book for like the fifth time.
Eventually the plane took off and we were on our way to wherever we are going. Mom and Dad made sure we didn't see or hear where the plane was heading.
Like they covered our eyes and ears whenever it was mentioned. It was kind of funny, people kept giving them looks.
Since we have a few hours until we land, I decided to get some more rest. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep to the sound of my music.

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!! I maybe sixteen now, but I feel like a little kid! I'm so excited that we are here! It's always been a dream of mine to go to Disneyland, it was even on my bucket list.
We're going to have so much fun today! Mom and Dad got the passes that let you go to both Disneyland and California Adventure. So we are for sure going back and forth between the two all day today.
Mom had picked out outfits for us for today, so right as we got to our hotel she gave us our outfits, then we took turns in the bathroom getting ready.

Apparently Mom has a friend who makes customized shirts and she had her make a shirt for both of us. Justine was given a white short sleeve shirt with a cheetah print mickey mouse head on it.
While I was given a long sleeve tie dye shirt that just said Disneyland on it, and on the back of the shirt was a white mickey mouse head.
Once we were both ready, we left the hotel and made our way downstairs to the rental car. We got into the car and Dad drove straight to Krispy Kreme to get breakfast.
Us kids have actually never had Krispy Kreme donuts before, so they decided to let us try some of their donuts.
We went through the drive thru and Dad ordered a bunch of different flavors, pretty much every flavor that wasn't filled.
I'm so excited, because Mom and Dad always talk about how good the donuts are. After he paid, he handed the box to Justine and I and let us eat whichever ones we wanted.
The glazed ones were still warm. We were in donut heaven. We've had donuts from other places before, but nothing tops these.
The two of us finished most of the donuts, then let our parents eat the rest. Once we were done eating, we excitedly stared out our windows and waited until we saw Disneyland related signs.

When we finally got to the area between both parks, Dad asked us which park we would like to go to first. We both agreed on California Adventure.
We had decided that we will do as much as we can at that park, until lunch time, then we will go to the other park to have lunch.
We skipped everything that would just waste time or was mainly for little kids. We even ran from ride to ride, so we could get more done before we started to get hungry for lunch.
As we waited in line at a few of the rides, I got noticed by a few teenagers. Apparently the vines Hayes has posted of me have gone viral.
"Omg! Are you Shawn!?" A girl squealed when she turned around and saw me after her friend or sister pointed me out. "Uh yeah." I said a little awkwardly. I'm really not use to talking to girls, besides my family and Rosie.
"Can I get a picture?" She asked excitedly. "Sure." I smiled, then got closer to her and crouched down a little so her friend could take our picture.
After her friend took our picture, she wanted a picture as well, so I posed with her too and the other girl took the photo.
"What's your Instagram?" She asked so they could tag me in the pictures. "ShawnDoe." I told her and they both found my Instagram and followed me, then posted the pictures, tagging me in them.

All day long we got stopped by girls and a few boys who either recognized me or Justine from Hayes' vines.
It was weird being stopped all day long, by strangers who know me from an app that I don't even have. It was kind of fun at the same time though.
Our parents were really confused whenever teenagers/kids walked up to us and asked for pictures. We didn't really know how to explain why, so we just pretended that we had no idea and were confused as well.
We had so much fun today, that by the time we got back to the hotel we all laid down in our beds and crashed. You know it's been a good day, when you pass out as soon as your head hits the pillow.
