"We're getting close, gear up," Batman announced, Robin already by his side.
They crept around the bushes watching their steps to make sure they wouldn't step on a tree branch. The last thing they needed was to bring attention upon themselves.
They crouched behind a bush and a rather large tree trunk, keeping an eye on the few visible men that were guarding the roof and the entrances.
"Red Hood and Robin, take the roof, Nightwing and I will take the ground floor, stay on com," Batman ordered. They nodded, each pair going their separate ways. The two youngest birds on the team climbed to the roof, each of them taking two men silently.
They never knew what hit them. Red Hood shone a small red light towards the bushes they were previously in, signalling the two other bats that the coast was clear and that they could take down the remaining men below.
"Red," Robin grumbled. The antihero turned back to the blood son, seeing him crouched down over a ceiling window, the light protruding through it highlighting the teen's features. The man tiptoed to his level, mimicking his position and watching the movements below.
There, they saw a number of men. Soon enough, a man walked through the small hallway, opening a door to his right and entering the room. As the door closed slowly, the pair distinguished what looked like numerous computer screens inside.
"Hold on, we're nearly at the security room," Red Hood informed through his com.
"Understood," Nightwing confirmed. "Standing by". Jason nodded to Damian as they made eye contact. The latter started picking at the small lock on the window and opened it silently. As soon as the men were distracted, they jumped down and took them out.
Robin knocked on the door to the computer room as Red Hood leaned against the wall, just beside the door. It soon opened, and they both fought their way into the room, knocking man after man. Robin communicated with his father and brother through the com as Red Hood dragged the unconscious bodies inside the room.
"You're safe to go," the short boy informed. They then scanned all the cameras. All eyes landed on two different screens.
"That one looked like something important would be sealed in there," Jason pointed out.
"This one too!" Damian muttered.
"Split up, good luck," He grunted, shuffling through one of the men's keys.
Handing them to Robin, he then peeked through the door, closing it behind him. The latter closed the door behind him, locking the door and leaving the key in the lock.
The young bird then climbed on the desk, opening the air vent above before sliding inside. Using his arms to pull his body, he crept quietly through the small structure, inspecting each of the rooms the vent had access to before continuing through them. Upon seeing the same area displayed on the computer screen beforehand, he slid the vent over the side and glimpsed down.
He jumped down, seeing that no one was in sight. After intensively scanning the room, he crept into the next one, his eyes landing on a computer. He checked both ways before scurrying towards it, unlocking it with ease before searching through it.
~She's leaving Mount Justice~
~Our plan worked, they're tearing each other apart~
~Meet Thursday, 9 pm, 5 miles from Happy Harbour, the club near the harbour~
He read, skimming through various exchanges between Deathstroke and Lilith until his eyes landed on another recipient. His eyebrows furrowed immediately.
~I can't attend, I'm sending my men to you Lex~
~As am I~
Lex? As in Lex Luthor? Is he in on this too?
"Greetings boy," A gruff voice chuckled mischievously from behind him. His head snapped behind him but was only greeted with a painful punch to the face before his mind succumbed into darkness.

"Roy?" Her beautiful voice whispered. He shuffled slightly, opening an eye to gaze upon the angelic figure in the hallway.
"Come in," He grumbled, opening his arms. To say that he was happy that she woke up at night to go to his room to seek for comfort was an understatement. But he did hate a few things about it, she shouldn't be feeling the pain she does, she deserves so much better.
Her body landed on the bed, a small smile tugging at his lips as she crept up and collapsed on his chest.
"Are you okay?" He mumbled.
"Mmh," She hummed, "I've seen better days, but I feel safe now,"
His smile turned into a lazy grin as he felt her hug him, pushing her body off the bed to place a kiss on his cheek before relaxing against him. Soon, he heard her soft snores against him.But he also felt jealous that she went to both his best friend and brother before himself. He wasn't going to dwell on it though. It's her decision, she should be able to go to whoever she feels the most comfortable with, and maybe, he could be able to be better than both of them so she would go to him first, no matter who is present, as selfish as that seems.
But love, it's a selfish thing, isn't it?

The young boy grunted as his eyes opened slowly, burning under the light from the lack of movement. He released a small grunt as his eyesight improved. His scowl depended once his orbs landed on the orange and black man leaning against a wall in front of him."Had a nice nap?" He smirked amusingly.
