I sat there, stunned. How could there be powers other than wind? I mean, if there is also earth, then there must be water and fire, right?
"Wow. Thats...different! I didn't even know trees were alive! Well, I did, but I didn't know the part where they can talk..."
"Yep. I would demenstrate for you, but i'm really tired. So, i'm going to sleep."
But long after Sasha fell asleep, I was still laying awake, staring up at the stars. Probably the same stars my parents are looking up at. Or maybe not, it's probably like two o'clock in the morning...
I felt my eyes starting to droop and my mind going all fuzzy. Some sleep would do my mind good anyway... and then was the time when mother nature decided that I wasn't allowed to excape my life with the blissful peacfulness of sleep.
The ground started rumbling, and I sat up with a start, now wide awake. Sasha had already gotten up and was inspecting the ground where it was shaking. I got up and stumbled over there, thankful that the night conceals the mess of my head that people call 'hair'.
"It looks like just this part of the ground is opening up. You see those cracks? Also in some places parts of the ground is missing. See?" She explains pointing to a spot in the ground. There was a red light shining through the spots where the ground was missing.
"Shouldn't we climb a tree or hide behind a tree or something that has to do with a tree? 'Cause the only things we could do has to do with a tree."
Without a word she went to a tree ten yards away and climbed it, and in less than thirty seconds, she was at the top of the tree. She climbed it like a freaking squirrel!
I went to a tree right next to hers and climbed it, much less expertly than she did.
Then when I looked back down at the ground, I saw a staircase.
That's right, A FREAKING STAIRCASE FROM UNDERGROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKING FOREST. And you know what came out of the ground?
A girl with flaming red hair. Litterally...flaming.
I don't think that is to good to have in a forest.
