Chapter one

Me and Luke were really getting along however Emily was getting jealous. It's hard for me too spend time with both of them but I try. Emily just doesn't seem to understand that Friday is date night and she can't tag along with us. and if we're staying at home Emily shouldn't be there but somehow she is. Emily has so many other things she can do she just chooses to tag along. We actually had a date night last week without her until she came walking in high as balls, turns out she ate a cookie that was offered to her at work by a dodgey customer. Emily now works at a shop, she's getting some funds for now until she finds the job she wants. She's been talking about joining the army but I'm not sure she will actually do it however if she does it might give me and Luke a break from her third wheeling. The door bell rang and I walked over to see who it was, sure enough it was Emily. "I am so sick and tired of Sally's bull crap!" She yelled "what do you mean?" I asked. "She was yelling at me for yelling at a customer" she said. "Why were you shouting at a customer?" I asked once again. "Because she was putting the stuff in her bag weirdly so I got mad" she said storming off into her room. "If you get fired you won't be able to afford this months rent, keep that in mind" I called after her. "Why don't you get Luke to pay it he's here practically all the time" she called back. Just as she said that Luke walked in. "You gave him a key?!" Emily said walking back out "Yea" I Said. "Why doesn't he just move in with us?!" Said Emily sarcastically "well actually we were thinking about moving in" I Said looking at Luke as he smiled back at me. "Well where would he sleep..see nowhere he can't move in there's not enough food water beds" said Emily getting jealous. "Well he could move in and you could move....out" I said jokingly. "Yea no" said Emily walking to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate. "Love you too" Said Luke to Emily. Emily pulled a face and then Luke laughed at her. "You ready to go?" Asked Luke. "Go where?" Said Emily turning the corner "were going out for dinner Emily" I said Emily began to put her shoes on "not you" I said "what?" She asked "it's a date" I said talking to her Like she was a child. "So I just like stay here...alone?" She said sounding confused "Yea" I said nodding at her. She slowly walked into the living room and sat on the couch "I'll just be here alone cold in this dark lonely forsaken land" she said being extra as usual. I laughed at her "we should go" Said Luke grabbing my hand and practically pulling me out the door. "Bye" I called. Emily didn't answer. We walked down by reception and Luke and I were ready for our date. I didn't know where we were going, Luke said it was a surprise. The thing about Luke is that he likes his dates to be fun or for them to be a new experience something that I'm going to remember. I think it's cute. We were driving for about an hour until I finally saw where we were going. We were just outside Blackpool beach. The lights were glowing in my face and it was magical. I remember coming here as a kid and we would go to the fair but we would only go on like three rides because we couldn't afford the pass that lets you go on them all. We would get donuts and eat them by the sea whilst watching the sun glisten romantically on the sea. That's not what Luke had in mind though....
