Chapter two

Emily's point of view
I sat on my own at the counter waiting for more annoying peasants to come and buy gross meat and veg. I work at a shop now and I hate it! I'm only working here for a few months because I need money to pay Alyshas rent. I have big plans for the future. I'll work in the army and I'll come back and Alysha will run out of Luke's arms and into mine, she will cry as I hug here after returning to my home after six years. She says thats not going to happen but she's always wrong and I'm always right. A customer came to the checkout and I starred at her. She had brown hair with round glasses that were gold on the side. They were kind of ugly to be honest. She put her food on the till and expected me to scan it for her. I charged her extra for the bananas just because her glasses were annoying me. Then I slid it over to her so she could bag it up. She began to pile all the small things on top of each other and then she put the big things on top of the small things. "No!" I screamed. She looked at me blankly not knowing what she was doing wrong it's a rookie mistake, I'm master bag packer. "You put the small things on one side and the big things on the other don't mix them up!" I yelled grabbing the bag off her and packing it the right way. She backed off. Then sally my boss walked over to me and asked to speak to me in the back which obviously meant I was in trouble. "You can't yell at customers Emily!" She said pointing her finger at me. I grabbed her finger and threw it down "I can yell at who ever I want and you know what I'm not working over time my shift is over" I Said throwing my apron at her and storming out of the store. I got in my red truck and drove home where I planned on plotting my revenge on sally and that stupid customer. I took the lift to my apartment and rang the doorbell Alysha doesn't trust me with my own key she says I'll loose it and I have to admit she's kind of right about that one. She answered the door and I stormed in shouting about how much I hated sally. Then I walked into my room and sat on my bed. I picked at the wallpaper for a bit to show how mad I was. Alysha was going on about rent and how I should pay it and if I loose my job I won't be able too. But then I came back with a comment about her beloved boyfriend and then he walked through the door and it was awkward but then I started getting mad over how he has a key and not me which is stupid because I live here and he doesn't. Then she was saying how he was gonna move in and I was gonna move out then me and Luke had a childish tongue sticking moment. And then all hell broke loose. Alysha had the absolute cheek to go on a date WITHOUT ME! This just doesn't happen for all I know he could kidnap her take her or even IMPREGNATE HER. That would be the worst. I stormed onto the couch and talked about how it was cold and lonely here and how it's a god forsaken land and the devils spirit will take my soul and use it as his own if she left me. She still left though. Just shows how much she cares. I decided to go to my friend Zacks house because he's pretty cool but also I had an amazing plan to get my best friend back....
