Soulmates (Heroes of Olympus AU)

Chapter 5

(Cussing and swearing in this chapter. I know Hazel is sweet and most likely would never cuss, but she is so badass I had to add it.)

Hazel POV

After Octavian left with the redhead me and Nico did not bother to get in our car. We just ran to the hospital. Once we were inside the room he was in, I ran into a handsom Asian with the build of a football player. He was so handsom. I tripped. (I know, cliche. Also, author's notes will now just be bold and in parenthesies. Sorry this is cricket crap.) He caught me before I hit the floor. I felt my face turn bright pink. I did not know his name but he has been my crush since I first saw him in 7th grade. He was so shy, but so handsom. Wow e caldo. Oh my god. That did not just go through my head. I learned Italian from Nico, and I also knew Latin, Irish, Spanish, and French. Wow il est chaud, Wow et iratus, Wow ta se te, Wow el esta caliente. The same thing went through my head in all the launguages I knew. Wow he is so hot, is what i thought. i quickly got up and ran with Nico into the girl's room. Leo was asleep on a girl's lap, the words Leo Valdez  below her tattoo, and the words Calypso Summers below his. I smiled to myself, Leo found his soulmate. I looked at my tattoo and I could see more detail on the animals. Oh my fricking god, that boy who caught me might be my soulmate, oh shit!  Santa merda e vera? E la mia anima gemella: Holy crap is this true? Is he my soulmate?  He walked into the room next to a bunch of other girls and a boy. They must be his friends. I saw his tattoo, a gold horse surrounded by crystals and pencils. I gasped as I loved horses. What suprised me the most was the color. The horse looked like my own horse, a gold one with a white mane. Her name was Crystallo, or Crystal in English. Nico owned an all black one named Cranio, or skull. Mine was in Latin because it was my second language, English being my first, while Nico's first language was Italian and his second was English, so it was Skull in Italian, mine was Crystal in Latin. We had an older sister Bianca, who went to collage in Italy. We rarely saw her, but she had a grey and white horse named Arcire, meaning Archer in English. I did have a horse named Arion, but he died of age. Crystal was his daughter, so I cared for her like she was my own child. Arcire was a greyish silver with a white main, while Cranio was a dark grey with a black mane. I always wore something with crystals, crystals were my life. I drawed alot also, probably the colored pencils. If he was my soulmate, I would turn into that bitch Drew and squeal. I pushed the thoughts out of my head as he approached Octavian. "Hey Octavian, this gal ok? Leo accidently tripped her when going to flirt with that black haired girl with the braid. She shut him down but when you saw her, yo freaked out. Whats going on Octopus?" Octopus was the name we gave Octavian when we were younger. He was obsessed with octopi, and one day said he found the kracken. Thalia then called him Octopus. The name stuck. "Haze, this girl is my crush and soulmate. I liked her since 5th grade. Now I found out we are soulmates and my life is complete. I hope you understand." I just was so stunned I nodded. I heard the asian boy who caught me earlier whisper to a boy with blond curly hair and blue eyes, "Are you sure?" The blonde boy nodded. "Ask her out. She won't shut you down." "If she does?" "Then it's not the end of the world." I was so confused I just smiled at Octavian and patted his shoulder. I then walked over to some chairs where Nico was sitting. He tore his eyes away from the blonde haired boy next to the asian and looked me in the eye, "Haze, I think I'm in love with that boy. I'm gay." I smiled and hugged him. "Don't worry Neeks, I will always support you. If your gay, be gay! Ya know what I mean?" (Vine reference with the "School doesn't matter. Acchieve your dreams. if you want to be a dog, woof! Ya know what I mean?") Nico smiled and hugged me. The school had got canceled because of a local fire from a Leo's dad's blacksmith shop: Hephaestus Blacksmiths. Then the asian kid came over. "Hey. Hazel is it? I'm Frank. Want to be friends?" I nodded. Nico noticed his shirt of a Mythmomagic logo, Nico's favorite game. They started talking but then my phone rang. "Oh shit Nico its dad." Nico froze and his eyes went wide. He nodded for me to take the dam call.

Hades: Hazel, where the fuck are you?

Me: Hospital. Friend's girlfriend got hurt

Hades: Well get your ass home

Me: Ok be home in 10

Hades: No. Get the fuck home in 5

Me: No promises

I hung up before my dad could make any other comments. I turned to Nico. "Dad's mad we stole his car, and aren't home by three. It's three thirty tight now." I turned to Frank, "Nice meeting you. Maybe we could meet up sometime, but Nico and I gotta go. Our dad is mad at us so bye." I kissed his cheek as me and Nico ran to school to get the car. Once we got there we got in the car, then headed home. I collapsed on my bed with a final glance at my tattoo. The animals weren't kawaii cartoon animals anymore, they were detailed masterpieces. I then fell asleep

Hey guys! If your wondering why I did not make Frazel happen now, wait till maybe 5 chapters then that should explain. So just wait till chapter 10. Also, Frank's name is not under Hazel's tattoo because they did not actually kiss, she kissed his cheek. In this Hazel is only a month younger than Nico, and everybody is the same age, 16 or 17  if their birthday had already happened.
