The fourth chapter (Reworked)

Alex : *Wakes up and sees the disaster* Jackson what has happened here 

Jackson : let's see we were tied up by Ruby and Weiss and they forgot and Jarred fell asleep while trying to cut the rope but kept getting tired from it so I think what he got was over exhaustion and he passed out like a baby 

Alex : * grabs the rope and breaks them with ease * weaklings , both of you are 

Back with Team RWBY 

Blake : Y/N WHAT HAPPENED , YANG GRAB SOME COLD WATER IN A GLASS

Yang did as she was asked and she grabbed a bottle of water in the freezer but it hadn't really frozen yet but it was still plenty cold and she handed it to Blake 

Blake : sorry Y/n * pours water down his trousers while looking away * 

You wake up immediately and yell the words " fuckin hell " very very loud and then you look at Blake who was staring at you shocked that you had even cussed because she had never heard him cuss and She doesn't think anyone else has either , so this was a surprise to everyone that heard it anyway Blake looked at you eye to eye you didn't know what to do so you just stared back at her then she leaned forward and got closer and closer to your face until Ozpin came onto the speaker and asked for team R W B Y & team J A F/I J (( f/I stands for first initial so it's the first letter of your first name )) Both teams headed there after you changed into new shorts that weren't wet at your room and then you of course you went to professor Ozpin and he was talking about how he needed both of your teams to go check out some strange attacks on a couple of houses just outside of Vale that weren't white fang or Atlas but both of their equipment were used to attack so he told them to be on the A game because where they were going there was no telling what could be in store so they pack their weapons and what not and they were supposed to stay there for 12 days to make sure nothing bad happened afterwards 

Le timeskip to later that night 

They had arrived at their location and it was very much attacked and it looked like what Nora would do if you made her Extremely mad because you did something very very bad and so they started looking for a place to set up a camp away from Grimm and away from human sight Jarred was the most luckiest at finding these good spots so they let him choose and he chose a 4 story or was it a three who cares it had more than two floors and you'd break a leg falling out of it anyway so they set up their camp while Jackson and Weiss were kissing and he had her against the wall but let's not focus on them let's focus on you , you were setting up your extra extra large sleeping bag then you felt someone tap on your shoulder it was Blake who hadn't had one it makes you have a flashback 

In the flash back 

You were giving this girl who looked like she had been starving for long enough to eat a Grimm entirely by herself you gave her a loaf of bread that you snuck her she was a beautiful little girl until your uncle made murder her in cold blood you swore you would never forget that day

End of flashback 

Y/n : hey B-Blake what do y-you need *he tries to say calmly without stuttering too much* 

Blake : *notices it but doesn't say anything* I forgot to pack a sleeping bag and I trust you more than anyone else to let me sleep with them and your sleeping bag is clearly able to fit two and so I trust you won't do anything to me while I'm sleeping unless I ask you too but that's not the point the point is can I sleep with you in your sleeping bag

Y/n : y-yeah s-s-sure 

Blake noticed his increase in stuttering 

Y/n : I-I'm j-just going to go for a w-w-walk it's okay if you c-come with if y-you w-would like 

Jarred : I'm tagging along 

Ruby : me too 

Yang : me three 

Alex : I'll pass I need to set up our defenses , just in cases , and our cloaking thing a thing 

Yang : okay hot stuff bye bye *winks at him*

On the walk you and Blake talked to each other for quite a while and you were talking about how you have been so scared to talk to any girl and all of your experiences where you just freaked and did stupid stuff and then she started to talk about how she was a white fang member before it was bad and it was just protests against Faunus rights and how they needed them because they were people too and you two had laughs and some fun meanwhile Yang was just enjoying the view and Jarred & Ruby were chatting about cookies when suddenly Jarred felt they were being watched and then he felt it move from him and then saw a glare... it was a snipers optical  and where it was aiming was right at you due to the laser that fell over him then you , he knew what he had to do so he gave Ruby a kiss and then ran as fast as he could and he pushed you to the ground and then .... a loud noise that was loud enough to scare the birds away and then blood... Jarred's blood... there was a hole the circumference of a palm tree in Jarred's stomach he looked down and then fell over using whatever Aura he had left to keep him alive for as long as he could so he could see Ruby's face once more , she didn't look pretty in blood not in his anyway 

((A/n this isn't really fitting but it makes it sad as hell))

Ruby : JARRED NOOOOOOOOO * she screamed as she had felt her heart plummet as she rushed to him as he was dying very fast and she estimated at least thirty seven seconds based on his aura and she put her bloodied hands on his face and kept saying * you're going to be okay just don't die please PLEASE , DON'T DO THIS TO ME PLEASE JARRED PLEASE 

His life force was fading fast you just stood there and watched him bleed out as you sat there on the asphalt road you were walking on just moments ago

Yang : NO ONE KILLS MY SISTERS BOYFRIEND THAT WAS MY JOB *Uses her shotguns as boosters to almost fly all the way over there faster then she ever has before to the location the shot came from and she found the man that did it and she beat the living hell out of him until after she was tired of punching and just couldn't throw another*

Back with you 

Ruby was holding Jarred's dead corpse as his final words were 

Jarred : thank you , thank all of you for giving me the chance to be whole again to know what it feels like to have a complete family for once , I love you... Ruby *tears rush down the side of his face as his smile remains and his final breath is taken with wind as fast as that bullet had hit*

Ruby Cries and screams. Alex called professor Ozpin and told them they were coming back and then told him why and in minutes there was a bullhead there to pick everyone up and all their gear but Ruby refused to let go of him she didn't even want Yang to touch him and so the medics ((A/n Kinda too late)) loaded him onto the bull head with Ruby and then they got back to beacon and everyone except Jarred went back to their dorm and prepared for the Most Powerful Hunter that would ever have lived to see the title and so at his burial he was offered something so much greater than a Purple Heart every hunter that was still alive came to his funeral including the top of the top the best of the best , no one could have done such a braver act then him and during the next couple of months nobody was the same because everyone loved him I mean Everyone And he just died even though he could have saved both his life and Y/n people gave him the sacred burial as well and a monument the sacred burial was held with the best hunters in the world even Winter and surprising indeed was Qrow and of course both teams that were assigned on the mission and on the monument were the words "Here lies The embodiment of what was the most powerful hunter in more than one way"

A/n I hope you guys enjoyed this and after rereading this and reforming it it looks a lot better and made me bring a tear to the eye but not like where the red fern grows kind of thing just more of a breakup after dating for a week but anyway I hope you guys liked and enjoyed this new version
