It was already 5:30pm. Liam didn't return after our encounter, so I decided to get something to eat from the cafeteria then just go to bed.
I took a quick shower and threw on a black cropped hoodie and a grey sweatpants along with my converse. As I opened the door I saw Emma standing in front of me with her hand formed into a fist.
She retracted her hand, but I couldn't miss the slight pink that coated her cheeks. She smiled at me with her perfectly white straight teeth. Seriously, this girl is perfect.
"Hey Ally, glad to see you're still breathing." She laughed.
"Yup, that's always good news isn't it? I mocked back with a smile.
"I came to ask you if you'd like to come to the cafeteria with me. You can meet my friends."
"Sure, I was on my way there anyway... Uh... where is it?" I embarrassedly said.
She smiled back, "Follow me."
Emma led me down the hallways until we stopped infront of two white doors, which she pushed open to reveal students talking, eating and laughing with their friends.
As we entered the cafeteria I noticed Liam talking to yet another Greek God.
Mystery guy over here had tanned skin, dark brown eyes and almost shoulder length wavy brown hair. He wasn't as muscular as Liam but you could definitely see he worked out.
I looked away as Emma and I got our food and approached a table with four other people.
A girl with natural curly hair and a darker skin tone and an asian guy with straight black hair were currently arguing, they looked like they would kill eachother any moment.
On the other side of the table there was a girl with grey almost white, shoulder length hair on her phone, and another guy with pastel pink hair and circular glasses reading a book. I think I saw a nose piercing too.
They looked pretty cool to me.
No one noticed us until the boy who was arguing turned to Emma.
"EMMA!! I have a very important question." He blurted in a hurried tone.
Everyone else at the table simultaneously rolled their eyes as Emma replied.
"What is it Jack?" Her voice laced with amusement.
"Do you pour your milk or cereal first?"
"We have been fighting over this for the past 15 minutes." The girl next to him sighed.
I let out a soft laugh which gained everyone's attention.
"Who are you?" The girl with grey hair asked.
I opened my mouth to reply but Emma did it for me me.
"Everyone this is Ally Summers my soon to be bestfriend. Ally's new, she got here today." Emma enthusiastically said.
"Hey" I shyly waved.
"Hi I'm Leo." The guy with the glasses replied with a small smile then returned back to his book.
"I'm Kelsey!" The girl who was arguing with Jack exclaimed.
"I'm Ashley, nice to meet you." The other girl replied.
"And I'm Jack. Now Ally... do you pour your milk or cereal first?" Jack asked with intrigued eyes.
"Uh cereal?" I said.
"I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN RACE." He yelled earning us a few glares.
Emma and I took a seat and began talking with the group. I say again they're pretty cool. Jake's obviously the funny one in the group as he managed to make us laugh for 10 minutes straight.
I couldn't help but notice when Kelsey laughs he would look at her with a small smile on his lips.
Someone's got a crush I thought to myself.
Jake was in the middle of a story when I was lightly tapped on my shoulder.
I turned around to come face to face with a girl who had tattoos and a few piercings, she dressed in all black and had a scowl on her face. She had a slightly bigger frame than mine and her cold brown almost black eyes glared at me in disgust.
"Uhm Hi?" I questioned furowing my eyebrows.
"Are you the new girl?" She said in a mocking tone looking me up and down.
"Yes?" I replied confused as to why she was talking to me.
She let out a bitter laugh which gained the attention of the students still in the cafeteria as they watched our interaction closely.
At this point I was getting angry at her for making a scene. Can't a girl eat her chicken nuggets in peace?
"Really, you? What Mommy and Daddy bought you the wrong iphone color and you threw a tantrum?" She mockingly replied.
My blood began to boil as I clutched my hands into fists restraining myself from punching her in the face. Who the hell does she think she is?
"I would shut up if I were you." I barked back in a warning tone.
Which surprised everyone in the cafeteria. Even my new friends looked at me as if I was crazy.
"Just ignore her Ally." Emma said.
I listened and turned back around hoping the bitch behind me got the hint.
"What? Did I offened little miss perfect? No wonder your parents sent you here, guess they didn't want a spoiled little br--."
Before she could finish that sentence I was already out of my seat.
My fingers curled around her neck as I slammed her into the wall. Causing her to hit her head as she winced in pain.
The cafeteria went completely silent. I think some people stopped breathing.
A few students got up to try and help, but I shoved little miss know it all further into the wall making them stop in their tracks.
I wasn't finished yet.
My eyes locked with hers as I saw the fear wash over them, then disappear.
She was scared.
I glared at her as my fingers tightened after every word I spat making sure it left a mark.
"You don't know anything about me. So don't even for a fucking second, act like you do." I said letting go of her as she fell slumped against the wall rubbing her neck trying to get rid of the pain.
I turned around still fuming as I felt every person's gaze on me.
One pair of eyes were more intense than the others, waves of emotion swirled through his forest green orbs, and I found myself staring back into the eyes of Liam Walker.
I hurriedly looked down and stormed out the cafeteria.
