Mistake.
That is what he is.
Maybe Notch keeps calling him that he is still his most awesome creation ever, but he would not buy it. No. He could not buy it.
He is a failure. He is a mistake.
It's not fair. Why is he a failure, and that new 'Steve' isn't?
It's not fair. Notch will love him more.
Notch will entrust everything to him.
Notch will eventually forget him, and he'll wander around aimlessly and alone, like a defeated antagonist.
This can't go on.
There can only be one Steve.
____Are you sure about this?"
"There are monsters out there, son!"
"You are the first to be going out to the wilderness, alone!"
Packing his belongings in his inventory and smiled, young Joe went off the gravel road as his parents and the villagers waved him goodbye and best of luck. Well, he did hear some telling him that 'the kid will surely die', but he had been training and try to build things by his own, and so far, it is going pretty smoothly.
Joe is now an adult, and like all villager kids, he grow up very fast. He has been waiting for the very day he is noted as a fully-grown adult, and that means he can do whatever he wished. Perhaps, it is not as usual as his fellow villagers, to stay and farm and breed and sell things. No, sir. He wants to be an explorer, just like Mr. Steve he met so long ago, who is long deceased.
He does not hate his fellows for it. It does not help it, and hating them is just making him feel sick of himself, for that means he thinks the same as them. So, he wandered out to the open for new adventures to come.
As the village slowly went out of sight behind him, he marched, with his map in hand.
"I think the plains over that mountain area is a good spot."
Steve was worried. Brian hasn't come out of the room for quite a long time now, and he hasn't heard anything from inside of the small room. He has no idea what he was doing, or thinking, so far, and he hated the fact that all he has to do now is just wait, and that is it. Sometimes, he would stand in front of the door and brought forth a fist to knock on the door, but he could not do that as well. He just can't do it, now that he knows Brian need not of his help.
He wonders what could possibly make Brian so angry.
Then again, who is he for the guest, anyway? He's just a man with a dirty, underground home. He's not a 'friend' or anything.
He slowly got up from the couch and sighed.
He reached out to the shelf above the fireplace and pull out an iron pick and blows the dust accumulating around it, and slightly tested it for balance.
It has been some time.
Whistling for his three oldest dogs to follow him, he left the house to mine.
Herobrine, on the other hand, is no longer in the room. He had left when the miner fell asleep on the couch, and he walked all the way back to the entrance of his mansion, the ground sizzling beneath his feet.
Even the creepers guarding outside knows that their Master is in a terrible, terrible mood. They flung the door open faster than they usually do and quickly hid behind the pillars as he walked through, and hissed in surprise when they realized he had caught the carpet on fire and some quickly hissed for a bucket of water for it.
The king, however, pay no heed. His mind is only filled with that of hatred and fury. It has been some time, the Miner had fooled him, thinking that is is all innocent and friendly as he slowly took over his place as Notch's favor in a deathly pace. The worst of all is the fact that he had slowly made him soft, and made him think that is is an ally.
He sat down on his throne and gripped on the edge, ignoring the sickening crumble of the netherbrick material. This Steve is nothing but a thorn on his side. This can't go on forever. He will hate, hate, and keep hating him. The reason he pitied the 'death' of the miner is nothing but of the ghost's doing. It made him weak. It made him as weak as all humans there are, and all players there are. He made him re-think hisclearly right actions, that is, to vanquish the existence of the miner once and for all.
The ghost too, shall be pulverized. If he ignored it enough somehow.
Right now, nothing else mattered.
He is going to murder the miner with his very own hands.
