"let me guess, my father sent you?" emily snapped back. "i can neither confirm nor deny this, regardless you must come with me." the mysterious man rose his voice. "leave her alone." jaeden told the man. "sir, this has nothing to do with you." "why don't you at least tell her why you need her to come with you?" "alright. miss emily crowns, i work with the toronto police department. we have reason to believe your father was murdered." the man told emily.

as soon an she heard the news, she hit the floor, crying her eyes out. rhys, kiara, jaeden and i all went down with her and hugged her. "who do you think did this?" she asked the man. "your mother, marion crowns. we can give you more information, but we'll need you to come down to the station." he told the poor, fatherless girl. "i-i'll see you guys later.." emily said as she walked off with the man.

"next stop, your house!" jaeden said. "damn, my wish didn't come true," i said in disappointment. "well, what was your wish?" the boy asked. "that this night would never end." i replied softly. "we'll meet again, y/n/n, i promise." "pinky promise?" i asked, holding out my pinky. jaeden locked his pinky with mine. "pinky promise." he replied. "and what kind of kinky bull shit is this?" asked my older brother, wyatt. "wyatt?" jaeden said in unison. "you're an oleff?" he asked, turning his attention to me. "y-yeah, why?" i asked. "look, you're a great girl, but we can't talk anymore." jaeden said. as he walked away, my eyes filled with tears. i turned to wyatt. "why did he leave?" i barely spoke. "he's one of my best friends, and i made it very clear to all my friends that you were off limits. i don't want it to be awkward, and i sure as hell don't want you getting hurt by someone i trusted." wyatt explained. "that wasn't your call to make! you thought you were thinking about me, but like always you were thinking about you! i liked jaeden and he just walked out because you 'didn't want it to be awkward', well you know what, wyatt? i was hurt by two people i trusted. fuck y-" i began ranting, but was cut off by wyatt. "shut. up. just shut up! i get that you liked him, okay? but he's not just my friend, he's my best friend, and i'm not losing him because you couldn't keep it in your pants!" an angry wyatt yelled. "anything you do is for you, just you! i can't remember the last time you did something for someone else. just leave me alone. and one more thing, dipshit. fuck. you." i said, before storming into my room.

i'd like to say, i was strong, and didn't get attached too quickly, but that wasn't the case. i was weak, clingy, some may even say desperate. i woke up the next morning to a light tap at my door. knock knock. "who is it?" i asked. "i-it's jaeden. look, before you send me away-" he started. "i don't care what you have to say, so please just leave." i cut off. "sweetie, your friends are here.." my mother said from the other side of the door. "let them in. not jaeden though." i replied. the door creaked open. there stood three girls, all concerned about me. "please don't send us away, y/n/n. we're here for you." luna told me. i nodded, and patted my bed.

i feel like this was too dramatic, and it's only the 4th chapter, but idk what else to do. i'll get some wholesomeness in there soon.
