"Hey Zander?" It was lunch the next day and Zander and I were at a table by ourselves. I take a deep breath, "will you go out with me? If you don't want to that's fine but..." he cuts me off. "Yes, of course. I mean, I was going to ask you out sooner or later but thanks for doing it so I don't have to!" He smiles. "Really?" I was in awe. He nods. I jump up with excitement and surprised awe. So this is what it feels like to have a boyfriend, huh? I love it!

After school, Zander and I walk home together. He comes to my house, for I couldn't go to his. Neither of his parents knew about so I figured we'd just go to my house. It was nothing serious, no big deal, and we mostly just ate food and watched TV.
"Well, would ya look at that!" He points to the window. My eyes ran to he sunset, beautiful as can be. I grab his arm.
"Follow me." I lead him over to the balcony and slide open the glass door after unlocking it. We walk out, and the beauty just takes our breath away. We scoot closer to each other, and then I lay my head on his shoulder. He lays his head on top of mine, and we just stand there, looking out at the sunset.
