Skye
Sunlight.
It's bright warm rays break through the kaleidoscope glass of my window and slither across the floorboards of my bedroom.
Creeping up onto my bedspread it's now colored rays blanket me in light, rainbows, and warmth.
“Wakey-wakey, Skye!” The sun seemed to be saying, urging me to drag myself out of bed and face the day.
But the thing is, this bed is just too damn warm.
And oh-so comfortable.
And these sheets! Ugh, they have fallen on me in juuust the right way.
Ohh yeah…. I'm not getting up.
Ever.
But just as I begin to drift back into dreamland… my alarm rings.
Groaning, I drag myself up into a sitting position, yawning and overall despising my existence.
Using a fist to off my alarm clock, I slide out from underneath the covers, my bare feet slapping against the wooden floor.
And thus my morning routine begins.
