Mornin sunshine

You wake up slowly to Arthur snoring once you realize what it was that sounded like a lawn mower you giggled slightly carefully you move his arms off of you to head to the kitchen to get some tea and possibly see if he has muffins. You get the kettle set up letting the water get to a boil you begin to go through cupboards to find tea you come across a mason jar labeled Arthur's blend your eyes lit up realizing it must be the kind hes made for you. Carefully you grab the large jar and set it on the counter by the stove you glance at the oven clock "noon...well then...i definitely slept well..." You whispered to yourself. The kettle started to whistle after several minutes carefully moving it then you grabbed two mugs from a cupboard both your F/C you smiled and started to hum a tune pouring the water into the mugs and scooping some of the tea blend and luckily you found two tea infusers a frog and a dinosaur. Slightly jealous of the dinosaur one you let the tea sit till the color became that of a lightly brownish color with a pinkish swirl.

You felt some arms snake around your waist "why didn't you wake me up? I would've made it for you love" you blushed remembering what you daydreamnt in your kitchen "well Artie you were snoring like a lawnmower i figured it would be impossible to wake you up". He chuckled into your shoulder "well your not wrong but some how im a light sleeper even if i snore like a mower" he kissed the back of your neck "hows about we spend the day together? Have uh...uh a lazy day you know?" You thought for a moment. "Sure Artie but...i wish i had something else to wear i regret falling asleep in my nice clothes..." "Oh salright i actually wanted to change too ill go dig something up for you as well" you smiled he kissed your cheek and left you heard him go up the stairs and open a door. You remember your hungry due to your tum tum growling and started to rummage through his pantry till you found strawberry poptarts (first breakfast item to come to mind and first flavor so basic of me lol). "Yes!... Screw Joy Poptarts are real Joy" you grabbed a pack and began munching on one.

A bit later Arthur came back with a sweater your F/C and a pair of black pj pants "oh thank you Artie" he smiled "no problem love and i see you found my poptarts..." You laughed "i think they're mine now" you said as you grabbed the clothes. "Hmh go get changed Y/N" you notice he's in a navy blue sweater and light grey pj pants "you look comfy" "i feel comfy Y/N...now go on" you nod and head to his bathroom beginning to strip and you slide on the jammies over your underclothes. You head back to Arthur who has moved to the couch "i cannot believe we went through that whole tub of F/IC" you playfully gagged "i know i might not ea-...hey! You took my other poptart" he smirked "i think it's mine now" you playfully punched him. Without warning he pulls you onto him with a squeak he chuckled "i don't bite...hard" (sorry Austen Powers reference had to be made) "oh yeah? If you don't bite hard explain what happened last night?" He went bright red "u-uh you started it..." You glared "you kissed me first Artie" he looked down in defeat. "But you continued it.." you were about to speak but realized you did escalate it "oh yeah...i did..." You grabbed your tea cup and took a few sips "hmh noticed you took my dinosaur one for yourself" you smiled "not my fault dinosaurs are amazing" he nodded and sipped his tea it was quiet for a bit.

Arthur decided to put down his tea cup and wrap his arms around your waist while you remained on his lap you smiled but when bright red as he buried his face in your chest. "A-artie?" A muffled "yes?" "What are you doing?" "Snuggling..." You felt him bite you "Artie!" He laughed and moved away from your chest "wasthamatter love? You didn't mind at all last night" you pouted and turned away. "Oh come on you know you love me Y/N" you sighed "yeah... Kinda stuck with you aren't i?" He nodded "oh yes you are" he nuzzled into the crook of your neck.

"Don't forget Y/N that if anything ever happens to me or between us i will always...always love you more than my own life Y/N just...thought i should bring it up you know?" You turned back to him "that means a lot to me Arthur...same goes for you if anything happens". He smiled you gave him a light kiss "you know i plan on spoiling the man/woman i loved since primary school for as long as i can right?" Arthur said you sighed "yes i had a feeling...ugh i don't want to go back to work tomorrow...Victoria wont leave me alone..." "Are you kidding? She won't leave me alone either love she may be your sister but ill suffer equally alongside you". "Your not wrong Arthur...not at all lets just enjoy this lazy day before i need to go home for the night yeah?" He nods and flicks on the telly holding you closely in his arms his head resting on your chest and you snuggling close to him.
