Chapter 8

Emma's POV

I don't know where they could go; most of the fairy tale characters are at Mary Margret's castle. It wasn't long before I got lost. I haven't been here since I was with Aurora and Mulan so I don't know my way around. I tried to find my way back by walking on the beach, I heard some crying and I saw Charlotte grab Zelena's hand, I ran for them and shouted, "No!" It was too late, they were gone through a green puff of smoke. Charlotte joined Zelena.

Henry's POV

She hasn't returned yet and I'm getting worried; Emma went looking for Hook but not Goldi. I don't get any of this, then I remembered, I still have that remembering potion! I took out the vile and drank, nothing... I sat on my bed, and then I fell and a rush of cold flow over me. I remember!

Goldilocks' POV

I heard Emma's scream, but it doesn't matter, I am with Zelena. I appeared at her castle, "Welcome my pretty!" She smiled, "This is your new home." I never noticed the castle's beauty. "Charlotte, I'm going to teach your powerful magic; a magic that no one will be able to defeat. But first, why don't you show me what you know about magic, anything!" I did a few different spells, nothing special, "I make potions, too." Zelena smiled, "Can you show me?" I nodded, "They're back at Snow's castle." Her smile widened, "Go and steal them. Take this broom," she opened a closet and handed me one of many brooms. It was so beautiful, the wood was soft and it looked brand new, and it made me smile. "Go, and hurry back!" I haven't flown on a broom before, but it was really easy. I hoped on it and took off fast. It took a while but I finally saw Snow's castle. The window in my room was open and I flew inside. I grabbed my satchel and put some potions and books, necklaces and some other things in my bag. I didn't realize Henry was waking up. "Goldi?" I turned around, a little startled, "Hello, Henry." He rubbed his head, "What are you doing?" He walked towards me and noticed the broom I was carrying, "Goldi?" I used magic to throw him across the room, he hit the wall and it made a huge noise. I gave a wicked smile and left right before Charming and Snow came through the door. I got on my broom and flew off. Man that felt good.

Snow's POV

"Henry! What happened?" I helped him up, "Goldi, she-" he winced in pain. "I remember!" He hugged me when I squatted next to him, I hugged him back, "I remember," he repeated. I helped him up and he hugged Charming. Then Regina walked in, "What the hell happened in here?" Henry ran to her, "Mom!" He hugged her and hey eyes teared up. I gave a smile, Charming looked around the room, "Henry, what did happen here?" Henry looked at me, "Goldi, she came in here after I woke up. She was carrying a broom and was putting things into her bag, then she struck me with magic." How could she do that? I thought she was one of us! "We need to permanently seal the barrier, it's our only way to not get harmed. No one in, ever. Only out." I gave her a look, "Emma and Hook are still out there." "Snow this is the only way! We don't have much time!" She walked outside so I followed her, hoping I would find a way to reason with her. "Regina we need Emma! She's the only one who can defeat Zelena!" Regina shrugged, "Unless you want us all dead, closing the barrier is our only choice Snow!" I sighed, "Give me ten minutes, if I'm not back with Emma, then you can seal the barrier." Regina gave me a look, "Oh yeah, sending a pregnant lady out when there's a witch on the loose is a good idea." Charming held my hand, "Then I'll go." Regina sighed, "Ten minutes." She opened the barrier and let him go.

Henry's POV

I can't believe I remember! I remember everything! But I also remember Neil, and I miss him more now. But that's the least of my problems. I don't know what happened to Goldi, was that really her? It couldn't have been. No, it couldn't have. But deep down I knew it was, she was no longer on our side, and it was all because of me. I love her, but now thanks to Zelena, she sees me as the enemy. I can't tell her or anyone. I am in control; I am a slave.

Charming's POV

I left right away and looked everywhere I could, and nothing. My ten minutes were almost up. I ran back to the castle, bringing back nothing, no one. Regina sealed the barrier, and Snow walked inside. We had no choice, Emma is on her own.

Emma's POV

I tried to walk back, I need to warn them about Charlotte. Hopefully they haven't found out, I'm guessing if they did find out, it wasn't good. Why would she do this, what made her change, or who? Either way, she's just as powerful as I am, if not more. I don't know if I can defeat her. Even if I do, Henry would never forgive me, but he could die if I don't kill her. We all could. I couldn't find a way back, and then I saw someone, "August?" A little boy looked up at me, "Emma!" He hugged me and I hugged back, "Hey I need your help, where's Marco?" He pointed inside a little wooden house. I walked inside, "Marco?" He turned around, "Emma, what can I do for you?" "I need to get back to Snow's castle, I need to warn them about someone." He stepped outside and pointed through the forest, "Follow that path, and you should end up at the castle in no time." He started to walk back inside, "Thank you." I followed the path, and I was able to make out the top of a castle. After a long time, I was finally able to see most of the castle, so I started to run. I saw the barrier, and I used magic to open it, but it wouldn't open. I tried again, nothing. I hit the barrier which made a loud sound. I needed in. No one came out, so I tried to hit it harder. I sat down and rested against the barrier. I heard a light banging, and I turned around to see Snow. She was yelling for Regina, who eventually came out, but then I heard a huge wind through the trees and an evil laugh, "Zelena." Regina ran towards the barrier. Zelena threw green fire balls at me, but I managed to duck. Regina opened a tiny hole in the barrier and I climbed through barely in time. Zelena was gone by the time I got in and Regina sealed the barrier.

Henry's POV

I was under control again, but it was more strict. She made me grab a potion Goldi dropped, and I had to go to the barrier and pour the potion on it. It opened and she made me step through and run to her castle. I was dead tired when I got there, but she wouldn't let me stop. I finally reached her castle and forcefully was dragged up to her room. "Hello again, Henry." I wasn't in control but I couldn't move my body, "You are destroying my life!" I yelled, but she just shook her head. "Not your's, Charlotte's. Now that I have her on my side, I can let you free. You are no longer any use to me." I sighed in relief, but I didn't feel relieved.

Goldi's POV

I was sitting against the door after I heard someone walk in. I didn't see who, but I heard all of it. The conversation was muffled a bit, so I couldn't hear who she was talking to. I opened the door a bit to hear better, "You destroyed her life, but why? You tore us apart, now she hates me! What could you possibly gain from all of this?" Henry? "You put me under control to tell her I hated her! But I don't! I love her! But because of you, now she doesn't see that." He loves me? I never really liked being considered evil, but it was my only option. I tended to give Zelena smiles that weren't real, but did I really still want to be good? I let go of my fake smile and tears rolled down my face as I whispered, "I don't want to be me." I heard them get up, so I ran into a room close to hers. I heard Henry scream in pain. Then he walked away gasping for air. He reached the bottom floor and I ran after him. He didn't hear me so I grabbed his hand, he turned around and smiled, "Goldi!" "Sh! She can't hear us otherwise we are both dead!" He kissed me, it wasn't like the time before, it was better. "What happened to you?" I shrugged, "I lost myself somewhere in the darkness."
