After a bunch of struggles mixed with a huge pain in the ribs from this greedy female-dog who just elbowed me-and who was oblivious to it since her eyes were completely glued to the wide green space ahead-"excited" is an understatement I could tell, I finally found a vacant seat at the very corner of the field.
Very corner, yup. Just what I like.
Away from those hundreds of crying koalas who would likely burst my eardrum soon enough.
Away from those cheerleaders who would be wiggling, twerking, and showing off their 'attractive butts' boys call it.
And most importantly, closest to the exit, which mean I could easily slip out of here if I started to feel bored-which is very likely to happen.
Sorry, not a fan of football.
"Hey! My favorite woman!" I turned my head to my left only to be met with the person who caused me to be here, who forced me to be here to be precise.
'Come on, you know you can't say no to this face.'
That was what he said with lips curved into the most adorable pout and eyes blinking rapidly like a lost puppy-which always managed to persuade me.
Little did he know, he was right.
When he reached right in front of me, he gave me his extraordinary grin, and I replied with a cold face-still couldn't get over the fact that I just got elbowed in the rib. He wasn't the one to blame, but being the reason I was here at the moment somehow making him the only person I could toward this annoyance I was feeling.
Still smiling widely, he then turned his attention to a blonde girl who was seated beside me, her fake dolled-up eyes busy scrutinizing her phone.
With his playboy mode on, radiating confidence like a miasma and that blessed face he got from his parents' genes, there was no denying that he could easily get whatever he wanted with those privileges.
And this time, I knew he wanted the blonde-headed girl's seat, and trust me, he will definitely get it - with no doubt.
"Hey, sweetheart," he sweetly called the girl, and immediately, the girl flushed when her eyes met his brown ones, which I myself couldn't deny were beautiful. "Do you mind scooting away a little so I can sit here beside my friend? And who knows, maybe we can have a little chitchat since I'll be sitting beside you for like, what, 2 hours?"
And boom! The girl was in a complete rush. She literally jumped to the seat next to her and gave space for him to sit right beside me.
"Thanks, sweetheart." He winked at her, and I scoffed at that, noticeably.
"W-welcome." I rolled my eyes at her stuttered voice.
Taehyung then took his seat and casually wrapped his arm around my shoulder, very oblivious to all the stares-not the good kind-and snapped his head to face me again. "What's with that face, babe? And why the hell did my cutie baby choose this place to start with?"
"Don't baby me, Taehyung." I crossed my arms over my chest, directing my gaze on the cheerleader squads whose busy preparing themselves prior to the final game, preparing as to make themselves more 'presentable' - in the eyes of boys, of course. "Can't you see I'm saving your butt from those horny girls up there who will literally be eye-raping you?"
"Well, they'll still be eye-raping me even though I'm sitting here. I'm too good for them." With his overbearing pride, he stated proudly, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
