Principle Pritchard had soiled himself at one point in my attempt to calm him down and pat him on the back. When I don't have time or the patience for him anymore, I leave the school, go up to someone climbing into their car, take it from them and drive back to Isabella's.

With the maroon suit still on, I think about how I still have three people left in the interrogation cells. Two rapists and one murderer. All of them owe me money so I have probable cause to skin them alive. I could bring out the good old pliers, but then again, that's no fun. There's always the cheese grater though...

"And Misses Loner Boner is back!" Daniel greets when I finally walk into Isabella. "Where'd you get the car this time?"

"Look who's talking. Can't even keep a girl straight for one night," I fire back as Oswald closes the door for me. "Make sure to return the car with payment as well," I instruct my butler before handing him the keys to the stolen car and heading to the kitchen to get my well-deserved Nutella.

Daniel grumbles something in the lines of Nessa being Satan's spawn while I grab a spoon and Nutella jar. I make sure to take off the maroon jacket before engulfing myself in the heavenly chocolate.

I head up to my room to finish the Nutella without Daniel's judging eyes. When I close the door, I walk over to my drawer and open it. There it is. The ring someone important gave to me. It's delicate and small - nothing flashy, but rock hard and real gold and diamond. Like Marigold.

I wish I didn't have to force her to marry me. I wish I had time to just be her friend. I wish she was somewhere better. I wish she wasn't caught up in the middle of death and chaos.

One thing I've promised myself though, is at no point will I let Marigold feel alone in our marriage. I know that feeling all too well and nobody deserves it. I'll be with her all the way and she'll be with me. In our best and worst moments.

When the Nutella is defeated, I head back downstairs.

"I got the South again. That warehouse you suspected? They're there. With a truck," Jack says when he rushes to get to me.
