A state of mutual trust and support between allied nations.
As his body hit the unforgiving ground he felt himself drift in and out of consciousness. His vision became blurry and right before he blacked out, he saw a figure come into his view. He wrapped his wings around his body in fear.
"You really need to be more careful" was the last thing he heard before everything went black.

He woke up to a dimmed room, seemingly a bedroom. The same figure he saw as he blacked out walked in with a glass of water.
"You need to learn to control your powers better. You need to learn when a task is too hard for you to perform. It gives everyone here quite a scare when you go primal. Especially Tony and Steve."
"I know, Loki, I know. I just thought I could do it this time. I thought I was finally strong enough" he said, his face growing stern while trailing off on the last part.
"Hey. You'll be strong enough. Just not right now. It will come eventually, Icarus" Loki said as he sat down on the bed next to him putting a hand on his shoulder "You may not realize, but you have been growing stronger," Loki said with a reassuring smile.
"Is Loki, the trickster god, the man who has stabbed his brother, trying to make me feel better?" Icarus said with a smirk growing on his face.
"I was simply trying to put you in a better mood," Loki said, getting up and turning to walk out of the room.
Icarus chuckled to himself, happy knowing Loki cared enough about him to try and make him feel better. He took the glass of water and took a sip, letting himself relax. He decided to let himself sleep for a little while longer, thinking that he deserves more rest.
As he wakes up again, nobody was in his room this time, though. He got up and out of the bed, walking out the door and down the hall. He noticed he was in the Avenger's compound when he walked out of the hall into the rec room. 'Guess I was in one of the guest rooms' Icarus thought to himself. He walked into the rec room and saw Loki sitting in one of the chairs, reading a book. He looked up when Icarus walked into the room.
"Glad to see you're awake. I went back in there a little while ago, but it seemed as if you had fallen back asleep."
"Ha, yeah, I had. I was get pretty warn out after...you know..." Icarus said. He hated thinking about when he goes primal. It makes him feel weak, small, like he can't do much of anything.
"Well, glad to see you up and out of the bed," Loki said, looking down back at his book.
"Hey," Icarus said, walking over to where Loki is sitting "how'd you know I was in danger? I was alone when it happened"
"I had gone to Stark's tower asking where you were. I had a question for you, and when Tony said you were in the woods, practicing, I thought I'd go look there. As I teleported there, I saw a figure like yours, fall from a high distance and I thought I'd go over to see if it was actually you. Obviously it was, so when you had passed out I picked you up and took you here so you could rest."
"Well, thank you. I'm not too fond of laying on the ground in the middle of the woods unconscious. What was your question, though," Icarus questioned.
"It's not important now. Don't worry about it." Loki said, once again looking up from what he was reading.
"Mmm...whatever I guess," Icarus said, sighing at the end "Do you know where everyone else is?"
"Tony is still at the tower, most likely in his lab with the small boy, Peter, I believe that's his name? I don't, nor do I care enough to know where everyone else is besides that, at least."
"What about Thor? I want to go talk to him."
"I can go find him if you want and bring him back here," Loki said, setting his book down on the table in front of him.
"That'd be great, man," Icarus said, looking at Loki with a smile. With that being said, Loki left the room, only to return a few minutes later with Thor.
"Here he is," Loki said, slightly shoving his brother Towards Icarus.
"Thanks," Icarus said.
"No problem," Loki shrugged, returning to his chair, reading his book.
"What would you lie to talk about, Icarus," Thor said, walking the rest of the distance to him.
"We just haven't talked in a while. What's going on big guy?" Icarus said as they walked out of the room to the guest room that Icarus woke up in so they could talk just to themselves.
"Oh! Nothing much. Regular God of Thunder things. I've been taking some time to myself, lately. It's been nice," Thor said, smiling to himself during the last part.
"Sounds nice. I've just been practicing my powers more, trying to improve. I'm tired of only being able to get animals to do small things like bringing something to me or going to a certain place or person. I keep going overboard, though. It's just. really destroying me, ya know?"
"I understand, it's hard to get better at your powers, but it gets better as time goes on. It's worth it in the end," Thor said, resting a hand on Icarus' shoulder.
"Thanks, Thor. I've been trying extra hard lately, though. I want to impress someone. I want to show them that I'm, powerful, too," Icarus said, looking at the floor "I want them to see me as an equal."
"Icarus, you're already plenty powerful and I know that everyone on this team sees you as an equal. We all have respect for you. I'm sure that whoever you want to impress is already impressed. You've grown so much since Tony found you on that mission. You used to not talk to us at all and you'd barely come out of the room you were staying in," Thor said, trying to make Icarus feel better.
"I guess you're right. Thanks, Thor."
"Anytime Icarus. Now, your wing, it looks damaged. Do you want to go to Tony to see if he has anything that can help it?"
"I would love that," Icarus responded, smiling at Thor.
