Old year books!
"Okay! Everybody got their year books?"
It's one of those days where you wake up and go blank. You're so bored that you don't know what to do with yourself. Nothing you love seems interesting anymore. Those days are the best days to break out the past, get cozy with nostalgia. After all there really was no rush to get back to the future when you had family, friends , snacks and best of all year books.
BamBam smoothed his hair down followed by a yawn. He and yugyeom took up seats at the dining table while Jae and JB hopped onto the kitchen counter. Taehyung parked his booty on the floor with his back pressed against the fridge.
Oh and you couldn't forget Yoongi. Who was currently running late to the gathering.
"I haven't seen these in ages?" Yugyeom flipped the pages of his and bams yearbooks with wide eyes "where did you find them?"
"I have all our old shit stored under the bed, in case the kids wanted to see it one day." Bam answered.
Taehyung couldn't help the huge smile devouring his face. He felt as if he'd accomplished something great. Sure he didn't really get along with the kids at school. Sure he couldn't even be a good friend to the boy who had been there for him when needed most. But he felt like his plate had been wiped clean. He wasn't the boy who got assaulted, the one who lost his best friend over the pettiest of reasons, the one who couldn't hold grudges against people that caused him harm.
He was just a white haired teen spending quality time with the people he loved.
Just as Hoseok and Joy came barreling in Jimin came waltzing out from the bathroom shaking his wet hands dry.
Whenever Jimin came over Tae always caught Yoongi smirking at him. Like he knew a dirty little secret about the silver haired boy, and it was the funniest thing on earth.
"Are we late?" Joy asked ruffling Jae's hair.
"No" yugyeom answered "actually we're still waiting for one more."
Two more . The invitation was sent to both but it was a given that one would not show.
Hoseok glared in jBs direction when he caught the boy spying at him beneath his lashes. Those two were still at odds. There was the vase incident then the great biting dilemma. It was like stepping on broken glass when around them. If you weren't careful you would get cut.
"I still can't believe my mom got rid of all my old year books!" Jimin exclaimed with a pout. Picking up a carrot stick from the bowl on the table he bit with a loud crunch " I mean it's almost like she's trying to get rid of every trace of my existence! This morning I caught her throwing out text book I'm still using and cutting my face out of pictures."
Joy laughed "dang, what did you do to your mama? I can't even get my own to throw away my baby teeth."
"Gross." Hoseok mumbled "why would she keep those."
Jae smiled wide feeling good about having something to contribute " our eomma still has our nails from their first clipping."
"I refuse to believe Jinyoung kept something like that."
Yugyeom rested his head on His lovers shoulder "I wouldn't put it past him." He mumbled continuing to flip through the year book .
