Chapter 27

Never in my life did I imagine I would be married to a wonderful man, have two beautiful children but here I am living that dream and I couldn't be more happier. We may had our ups and downs, I have doubted our marriage, we fought, but at the end of the day it was us against the world.

My family may not be perfect, we fight, so does any other families, but at the end of the day we love each other. We apologize and move on. We don't dwell on it, we talk it out. Sometimes we may have to go to the ring to sort it out, but we fix it.

Eventually we decided to get away from gun running, Clay stepped down from being the President and gave it to Jackson. Clay's hands were giving him trouble, so he decided to let Jackson take the raines, and with Opie as his VP. Unfortunately Pineys health got the better of him and passed away in his sleep. It was hard to bury a brother, a father and a grandfather but we knew he was at peace.

We decided gun running was bringing too much heat, so we decided on different avenues to earn legit. Besides Cara Cara, we picked up another studio and Lyla is running Red Woody, a Ice Cream Parlor called Scoops which I am running along with Donna, and Alexis. Gemma still runs the garage, even though she isn't the 'Queen', she still runs things.

I told her I couldn't ever take her place as ' Queen of SAMCRO' but I would try. She will always be the Matriach of the club but she told me that I could do it. I was helping Jackson to be ' King' and was doing a great job.

Our relationship with the Mayans was way better than before. We gave them the gun running, we told them we wanted to earn legit and they understood why, they stop in town occasionally, they check up on us and the club. I have always respected Marcus, he was never rude towards me. He was very respectful.

Abel is in school now and loves it, he talks to us all the time about it, especially to Tommy. He lights up when Abel talks to him, they are going to be close. He reads to him every single night, and Tommy sits there and enjoys it. Abel will read to me and Jackson as well. Hell he reads to anyone that will let him, which is everyone, Clay especially loves it. He lives for his grandchildren and loves watching them grow. He is enjoying his 'Retirement' from being the President.

Tig found love and her name is Venus. She is different but that's ok we still love her. Tig met her one day at Scoops while enjoying his break from the Shop. She came waltzing into the store and he fell and fell hard for her. Man I have never seen him so happy but he loves her. She is good for him, she balances his crazy. We were glad to see him with someone for a change.

Happy and Alexis are doing great and the twins are growing up so fast. Herman is the splitting image of Happy, and Maria looks just like Alexis. They are expecting another baby and Happy is so excited to be a father again. He has been a little depressed after Ma passed away, but he had us to get him through it all. He thanked us and we told him he was family and we will always be there for him. Alexis really stepped up as an old lady and took care of him. I was really proud of her.

Opie and Donna are going strong with their marriage. Ellie and Kenny are in high school now and it is so hard to believe that. I remember the day they were born. Now they are growing up, their relationship with Opie as grown as well. It took them some time to readjust after his prison sentence but they have grown closer to him over the years. Ellie is dating a boy and Opie is ok with it but at the same time he is struggling with the fact his little girl is growing up, but the boy she is dating is a really sweet respectful boy.

My dad found love again. At first I was hestitant. I know it sounds childish but he is my dad I have to protect him but I grew close to her. He met her at one of his Elvis gigs and he felt love again. Her name is Amy and she is a very sweet lady. She understands the MC and accepted it.

Juice and Chibs married their girls and started their little family. Juice had a little girl and Chibs had a little boy. I was so happy for the two of them, Juice has grown so much over the years and seeing him with his little girl melted my heart. He is such a great dad, and husband. Chibs being a father was a site to see. He lite up like a kid on Christmas when he found out his was going to be a father. The kid looks just like him and it's so precious.

Unser retired and moved to Florida and Hale stepped in as the new Chief and he is doing a great job, he walks around town with a proud smile on his face, since being in the new position crime has went down, with a little bit of help from SAMCRO. Hey we might went legit but we have a town to protect, but we are low key about it.

I am happy with my life, it may not be perfect but I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I have a doting husband, loveable children and an awesome family that will do anything to protect us. This is my life, the SAMCRO life until I die.
