Chapter 8

It was hard for Donna, working, taking care of her kids and cleaning but I was there every step of the way.
" Aphrodite I can't do this, Op's in prison because of fucking Kyle Hobart and I am left holding this house together." I grabbed both sides of her face and said
" You can do this, you are so strong and plus you have me and Jackson. Also you have the club, so it will be ok. I know you want Opie, so what you are going to do is request a visit with Opie, and go visit your husband. Ok?"
She nodded her head but went to say something and I stopped her
" Jackson and I will watch the kids this weekend and go see Opie and afterwards take a day or two for yourself ok, the kids love us and they need their mom to be in a good place. Take some time off."
" I have bills Aphrodite."
" I will help pay them, don't argue with me on this Donna, I have the money. You are not a burden and it is a gift, you're my best friend, my sister and I will help you." I kissed her cheek and she smiled.

I called Jax and told him what I was doing and he agreed, he had no runs, or anything else going on. So Donna went to visit Opie and took a day or two for herself to get out of her own head. I booked a spa weekend for her, she was shocked but took my advice.

" Thank you Aunt Aphrodite and Uncle Jackson for watching us." Both Ellie and Kenny said
" Your welcome babies, we are going to have so much fun this weekend. We are watching movies, playing board games, and just vegging out." So that is what we did. We made cookies, Piney stopped by to check in on us.

" How are they doing?" He had asked as the kids were playing outside on the play set Jackson bought for them, he figured they needed it, since they would be there alot.
" They are just fine Uncle Piney, complete angels, they needed this, as well as Donna needed it."
" You are so wonderful doing this, if she didn't have you, I don't think she could get through this."
" She needs support, not just the club but her friend. I want her to get through this just as much as those kids. I always talk about their dad so that they feel close to him."

He kissed my forehead and said
" You are a good person and one hell of an Old Lady."
" Well I was raised by Gemma, so you know I would be kick-ass." I said with a laugh.
I asked Piney to stay for dinner and he agreed, the kids absolutely loved having grandpa there. Jax enjoyed his company as well.

Finally the weekend was over and Donna came by to pick them up and told me how it went, and I could tell she was more relaxed
" So how is my brother?" I asked
" He is fine and appreciates what you did for me and the kids, told him you booked me a spa weekend and he said thanks."
" Well you deserve it, anytime you need a break I am a phone call away."

So she left with the kids after their thank you're and I told them they were more than welcome. I cleaned up and Jax came up behind and said
" That was awful nice sweetheart, those kids needed it as well as Donna. You are truly an Old Lady." He said as he rubbed his crow that was placed below my breasts, he watched Happy the whole time he was doing it. I rolled my eyes at him, Happy was like my big brother.

" I was raised by your mom, did you expect anything less?"
" Nope, I just damn proud of you, those kids are lucky to have you in their life. I was thinking maybe we should have a kid."
" Really Jackson, you think we are ready?"
" I think so darling, no time like the present." He said to me.

I wanted to have kids, maybe Jackson is right I love having Ellie and Kenny around. They were good babies and I was there for them as babies so I think we are ready. But unfortunately timing was bad, some shit went down at the clubhouse and Jackson and the boys got locked up, not all the boys but some. Apparently they got weapon charges because they had weapons lying around the clubhouse.

Fortunately for them Rosen our lawyer was able to get the charges dropped to where they would only do little over a year. I was bummed Jax got locked up but I pulled up my big girl panties and handled business. Luckily for us Happy, Kozik, and some of the Nomads stepped up and kept things going for us.

I would go and visit Jackson and them when I got the chance to. I was helping Gemma with TM, Donna with the kids and everything in between.
" You need to slow down Princess, you are going to run yourself to the ground you keep going that way." Happy said to me one day
" I know Happy, I am going to take a break I promise, I already told Gemma and she agreed. I am staying with Donna this weekend and we are lounging around." He nodded his head and kissed my cheek.

So that's what I did and I needed it so bad. I spent the weekend with Donna and the kids. We just lounged around and pigged out on junk food. Watched movies and at night me and Donna had some wine.

" Aww I definitely needed this, thanks D."
" Hey you helped me, so I am returning the favor, you were running yourself ragged girl."
" I know, you know before all this shit went down we were talking about kids."
" Really, you guys ready?"
" More than ever, we love Ellie and Kenny, so why not."

We talked the rest of the night and went to bed. Man this is going to be a long year and half but I can do it, I am a Munson, raised by Gemma and married to Jackson. I got this.
