"Uy teh, download mo tong app na to oh!" hyper na tili ng kaibigan kong si Louie habang busy na naman siya sa pagbutingting ng cellphone niya.

Inahon ko ang mga hotdog sa kawali at sinalin sa maliit na plate bago ko nilapag sa table. "Anong app na naman ba yan?" I asked her.

"Anong na naman? Bago to ha. Di mo pa knows to teh." sabi niya na tila ba kinikilig pa. I just roll my eyes and gets the tasty pan bago ko pinalamanan ng hotdog na niluto ko.

Tumabi naman siya sakin at nagsimula na ring kumain. Pinasilip niya sakin yung dating app kuno daw na kaka-download niya lang. Tantan?

"Oh pano naman gamitin yang tantan na yan?" I asked her while I'm busy eating our breakfast. The usual morning routine naming dalawa dito sa apartment. Yes, share kami ng apartment at the same time pati sa mga expenses syempre. Our hometown is in Angeles Pampanga pero yung work namin is dito pa sa QC so we decided na mag stay in nalang dito kesa umuwi-uwi pa kame samin which is sobrang hassle. So far so good naman kami dito, minsan umuuwi kami sa Angeles.

Louie shows me the app, kulay red yung icon niya na may mukha sa gitna. In-open niya yun and then on the center is yung picture niya then may something na parang roleta na umiikot sa palibot ng picture niya. Looking for people nearby.. yan ang stated sa bottom part tapos maya-maya lang ay may picture ng lalaki na lumabas at the center.

She chuckles and points her phone. "Ganto teh, diba ayan--epek siya." she explains to me. "Pag bet mo siya, swipe to the right." she said and then ini-swipe niya nga sa right yung picture nung guy then may lumabas na malaking heart. After that, may lumabas na picture ulet ng ibang guy naman, umasim naman ang mukha ng best friend ko. "Ayan ha, pag kalerkey at not bet. Swipe to the left." sabi niya habang tumatawa-tawa pa. At ini-swipe niya to the left ay may lumabas na malaking ekis. Pagkatapos nun ay picture ng ibang lalaki naman ang nag pop up.

"Gets mo na teh ha? Madali lang naman eh." she said and grabs my phone from the table and download that app on my phone.

"Ayy! Ayan na may nag-match ulet!" tili niya habang ngingiti-ngiti na kala mong aso. She again show me her phone. Congratulations! You've got a new match! That was stated on it and then picture niya and yung guy kanina na ini-swipe niya to the right ang nasa center. It has two choices on the bottom. Start a conversation and Keep swiping "Ganto naman pag may naka-match ka. It means parehas niyong ni-heart ang isa't isa." she said and click the Start a conversation to talk to that certain guy.

That was the information of the guy, it was also stated on the top part that this Ethan guy is online. My friend then make herself busy, talking to that guy as we eat. "Set up mo na rin yung tantan mo para maka-hanap ka naman ng boyfriend mo." she said and laugh at me so I roll my eyes and gets my phone from her.

I was silently eating our breakfast and then I just found myself making and setting up an account to tantan. I put my cellphone number as an account name or recovery if ever na ma-forget ko yung password--whatever. Kinalikot ko lang yung app all by myself and I think it was all set up.

I didn't put anything sa about me and my interests, haha. I don't feel like putting something on it. My profile is just a plain profile. I think there's nothing so special about it unlike Louie's profile na maraming kaekekan.

And lastly, I should put my pictures on it pala to finally complete the set up of my profile. I browse my gallery and choose my besy shots--as what my best friend said yeah.

I only upload 4 pictures. My front picture is my selfie here, the second one is my picture taken by Lou the last time we eat on a restaurant Bale Capampangan in San Fernando. The third one is my whole body picture in Sky Ranch Pampanga and the last one is my Candid shot taken on QC memorial circle. I think I'm somehow look okay in here. Looking nice and fine, that's right.

Okay, done. I tap the home button to start. Just like kanina kay Louie, Looking for people nearby.. was stated on it. Then a photo of a guy appears on the screen. Swipe left, swipe left, swipe right, swipe, right, swipe right, swipe left, swipe right, swipe right-- Congratulations! You've got a new match. I immediately click the Start a conversation but before that, I click first the guy's profile.

Di na online si Andrei ah? Busy siguro. So I decided to swipe right, swipe right, swipe left, swipe right, swipe left, swipe right.

"Ano na Hayley? Busy ka na rin ah?" Louie chuckles as she puts down our coffee on the table. I finish my food and looks at her. "Eh sino kaya nag-impluwensya sakin sa tantan na to?" I asked her and giggles.

"Ay teh, alam mo yan! Hahaha!" she said and cleans the table and washes the dishes on the sink. I take a sip of my coffee while waiting sa reply ni Andrei. Kung magrereply, for sure naman di lang ako kausap nun sa tantan.
