Confidence is
trusting in the abilities I gave you.
Pride is
making your abilities idols.
Pride is a form of idol worship.
Pride is confidence on steroids.
"My heart is not proud, Lord,..." (Psalm 131:1)
Pride can cause failure.
Confidence can spur determination.
To become a healthy confident person
is the goal I have in mind for you.
