Steph POV

I was leant over the engine of my car, trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with it. You see, it was all good this morning... got up to go to work, put the keys in the ignition and the hum of the engine was there. But now, a whole bunch of nothing. I couldn't understand it... everything was right, I couldn't see anything wrong with the car. I tried ringing one of my mates.

Bailey: Hey, sorry I couldn't come to the phone right now. Please leave a message after the beep.
Steph: Oi mate, ring me back asap. Got an issue with my car and need your opinion

I sighed... hard. I was born in Australia so everything I grew up with was completely different. Same principles, but everything's in slightly different spots. I never fit in at school either. I was always into motors, bikes and cars... not make up, dolls and dresses like most females. I did love music and drama though. A job with music or drama in it would be just amazing. Mechanics was more so a hobby. It's all self taught.

I moved to Charming when I turned 18, even though that was only a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, I loved Australia, still do. But Charming just seemed like something different that I really needed in my life. I needed a break from family constantly being in my face about what university I should go to, and my friends, well 'friends', always making a competition about becoming a drama teacher before me. Like bitch, go and get yourself your own career.

"Ughhh why me!" I whisper yelled to myself.

I hear the roar of bikes coming close. Damn they sounded good. I turn to see where it's coming from. A whole bunch of Harley's go rushing past, all the riders wearing the same looking leather vest, with a reaper looking thing on the back. They're all turning into a place just down the road from where I'm stuck.

"Maybe I could ask them for a hand." I thought to myself.

Without even thinking I found myself walking towards this parking lot looking thing with a massive gate out the front. The gate was still open by the time I got there.

As soon as I step into the lot, I felt like so many eyes were on me, and not in a comforting way either. I look up and see the sign 'Teller-Morrow Automotive Repair'.

"Well, at least I'm in the right spot... I hope."

a/n - so, new story. Sorry this was such a short chapter. First ones are always hard for me. The next few should be a bit better.
