One Thing Leads To Another (SOA)

Juice POV
I started to have a look at the car Chibs was working on before he left in a rush. I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions... not even where the hell Tig was.

'Oh well. Surely he'll be back in a few minutes anyway. They were only going to get a car, right?' I hoped.

After a little less than an hour, I saw a really nice car coming into the garage.

'Is that Tig? In the drivers seat?'

"Hey Juicey boy, come give us a hand!" I heard Chibs yell.

I ran toward this beauty of a car wanting to help out as much as possible.

"Where did you find a beaut-" I started saying while I was walking around the back of the car... that was until I saw someone else. i stopped dead in my tracks and cleared my throat. Holy shit did she look familiar.

"You okay mate?" I heard her ask.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm all good. Just in a bit of shock at how nice this car is." Wow. Shitty save. I mentally kicked myself.

"She's beautiful aye." She bragged.

"That she is." Tig, Chibs and I all said at the same time. She started giggling at this.

I walked my way around the car before Chibs called me again. "Hey Juice, 'round 'ere brotha." He motioned to the back of the car.

"1, 2, 3, PUSH!" The girl yelled.

We all pushed like hell to get the car up and over the spoon drain going into the drive way.

"Hey, Tig. Maybe if you got your fat ass out of there we'd be able to get it up with your help!" I yelled, genuinely frustrated. I heard Tig groan and get out of the car. As soon as he got out, the car started moving and we eventually got it into the driveway. Once we stopped pushing, the girl ran to the door and put the handbrake on.

"Told ya we'd be able to move it as soon as Tig got out." I couldn't help myself taking the piss outta Tig... it's just so much fun. Everyone but Tig laughed. He just pouted and went into the clubhouse, probably going to get a beer and have a little sulk.

Tig POV
As I turned around, I heard them all laughing about Juice's statement. I went into the clubhouse, grabbed a beer and sat on one of the bar stools by myself. Seeing Steph and Juice together, they looked so similar. Surely I wasn't the only one who saw it. Pretty much everything from their brown hair to their brown eyes and their smile. It all looked so damn similar. As far as I knew though, Juice didn't have any siblings... What is going on?

Steph POV
Juice, Chibs and I made sure my car would be okay where it was for the night before we went into the clubhouse. While we were moving it around a little bit, it started to get darker out and the rest of the boys were showing up. 

"So Steph, what brings you to Charming?" Juice asked the question I've been dreading. 

"I felt like something different." I replied, hoping that would be the end of the conversation.

"Where 're ya actually from?" Chibs asked.

"Australia, a little country town that you've probably never heard of."

"Any family?" Juice asked.

"Well, do you want the long or short answer?"

"Wha'ever you're comfortable with love."

"Okay, so I got a mum, obviously. She's the best thing in my life. I got a dad somewhere, don't really know and don't really care, probably drunk somewhere. He left when I was around 7 and started seeing someone else nearly straight away... absolutely destroyed my mum and I had to stay strong for her, no matter how much it killed me. I slightly remember having a brother but I don't have much memory of him. My dad took him. So, who knows if he's alive or not." I took a shaky breath, having all these memories coming back to me. I look over to Juice and Chibs to see them just looking at me. 

"Shit love, I'm sorry tha' happened with ya dad." Chibs sincerely said. 

"Yeah, I'm so sorry." Juice said with the same tone. I shrugged and tried to play it off, even though the memories were coming back. 

"Uh, yea. Umm it's no big deal." Little did I know  a tear slipped out of my eye. I felt warm arms embrace me in a hug. I didn't even look to see who it was but feeling this sort of affection, it made me cry even harder. I just sat and sobbed into either Juice or Chibs' arms. Whoever it was, they started to run their fingers through my hair in an attempt to get me to calm down, on one hand it worked, but on another, it made me miss my mum. It was exactly what she used to do to calm me down. 

I eventually pulled myself together and took the chance to look at who was giving me so much comfort. It was Chibs.

Chibs POV
Seeing her like this absolutely broke me. She was only 18, yet she had that shit happen and clearly something bad happened. While she was crying, I motioned to Juice to go inside. As much as he didn't want to, he saw that I had it under control and went inside with the other boys. 

We just sat in the same position for a while until she stopped crying.

"Hah, thanks Chibs. That wasn't meant to happen. Probably not a great first impression. I'm really so-" I cut her off.

"Shhhh. It's okay, love. It shows you're human." I embraced her in another hug and she hugged me back. 

"So, wha' really brings ya to Charming?" She took a shaky breath before she answered.

"I had to get away Chibs. I couldn't deal with being at home anymore. Too many memories coming back to me and too many truths came out. I couldn't handle it. So I came here, trying to start fresh, but also find my brother. Apparently he moved to Charming a while ago." I took a second to process everything, still giving her a hug. 

"Hey, Chibs?" She asked as she pulled away slightly. 

"Yeah, lass?"

"Could you please not tell anyone about what I've told you. I trust you even though I only met you a few hours ago. I feel safe telling you this shit and I don't know why. So please just keep this between us, yea?" 

"Of course, love."

This poor kid, she doesn't deserve this. She seemed so happy when we were around her car. We were all joking around and now I've seen her tell me about her family and how much it broke her when her dad and brother left. I'm guessing it was only a little part of her heart she poured out to me tonight, but it was clearly a devastating part.

Please let this mystery brother be alive, for her sake.
