"How did you figure it out?"
"Figure out what?" Jungkook murmured idly.
"That I'm V. I had to fake being ill for three days because I was so embarrassed."
Currently in the art room for lunch, Jungkook was watching Taehyung paint. Neither had talked about the kiss yesterday though it was still fresh in both of their minds.
"You were the one who handed me the note that said I love you."
Taehyung flushed, "But that was not when you solved the mystery, was it?"
Jungkook smiled, gesturing at the portrait on display. The one of the faceless boy he had admired a few days prior.
"That's yours."
Taehyung rolled his eyes, "I know it's mine, genius. I painted it."
"I had watched you paint it," Jungkook admitted. "I don't think you noticed me that day. You were still halfway through it. I saw you here."
"That still doesn't tell me how you figured it out," Taehyung pointed out.
"Because artists always sign their paintings. And you, Kim Taehyung, always sign yours with a V."
The older sighed. Jungkook's next words, however, sent Taehyung into a coughing fit.
"And also because I'm the one in the painting."
