Chapter 8- The missing Butler

Here we go everyone Chapter 8, this one has some action in so enjoy:)

Chapter 8

     I awoke the next morning realising that the curtains had already been opened. I looked around my room for Sebastian but couldn’t see him, did he open the curtains? No one else comes in my room in the mornings. “Sebastian!” I sat there for a while waiting but no answer. Where was Sebastian? “Sebastian!” I waited again but still nothing.

    Then there was a sound of fast footsteps approaching and the door burst open, “Mey-Rin, what are you doing here?” She looked out of breath as she walked over to me, “G-good morning master. Oh dear I’m not very good at this.” She was standing there obviously nervous; by the way she was playing with her fingers. I let out a sigh, “Mey-Rin where’s Sebastian?” She thought for a second and was about to reply when I interrupted, “And don’t lie, that’s an order from your Master!” I looked exactly at her locking are gaze, so I could tell whether or not she was lying.  

   This was the good thing about these servants compared to Sebastian, they were easier to figure out and they were never able to overpower me the way Sebastian does, “Sebastian said he went out to deal with a girl?  No maybe a boy? I couldn’t tell.” I looked annoyed at this, why was Sebastian dealing with someone else? “What do you mean you don’t know?” Mey-Rin looked around nervously avoiding my gaze, “Well, when I saw Sebastian last he was outside surrounded by a group of people. I ran out to find out what’s going on, and Sebastian told me to look after the young Master while he was away.” I looked concerned at that, it must’ve been urgent for someone like Sebastian to walk away with them. Where’d he go? I was actually beginning to panic, what?? Wait, why do I care?! That demon he’s driving me mad! 

    Sebastian still has not returned, and it’s lunch time, where could he be? I looked around at all the servants as they ran about preparing lunch for me. I let out a sigh and walk into the hallway and outside. The garden was as colourful as ever, but something seemed different. I looked ahead of me and thought I saw a glimpse of someone behind the trees. Sebastian? No it couldn’t be he doesn’t hide behind trees, at least I don’t think so. Suddenly I heard a gunshot coming from where I saw someone standing and noticed that, that person was carrying a gun. I heard Mey-Rin calling out my name “CIEL!” I looked towards her, but as I did so the person fired the gun and it was heading straight for me. Sebastian where are you? 

    The next thing I felt was someone pushing me over and then landing in the flowers, it was Mey-Rin, “Master, you ok?” I nodded in response still a bit shocked, “Yes I am fine, care to explain what the hell is going on? And why I’m being aimed at? And where the hell is Sebastian?!” Mey-Rin couldn’t keep up with me by the look of confusion that now covered her face. Instead she helped me up and then we ran indoors, “Master, I suggest you stay indoors for now. We servants will deal with this.” There dealing with it?  But they can’t even do simple chores, but before I could answer all the servants were rushing about. I looked over at Finnian, who was carrying a bucket. What on earth is happening right now?
