"You evil boys!" Daria's super mad and Connor and I. Connor dumped her for me and now she's throwing rocks at us. It was a bad idea to dump her outside.
"Jude, run!" Connor takes my hand and we go sprinting down the road. We leave school grounds, Daria close behind. Taylor is still at school. She didn't want to side with either of us so I don't know what her deal it. I like her, though. She's really nice and she's good at video games. Hopefully she'll come around.
"Connor, where are we going?"
"Your house?"
"Okay. I guess I have to lead then. Follow me!" We head off to the right and swerve behind a car to hide from Daria. She keeps running and we sneak back around and to my house. When we get there, we go up to my room and make out.
"I love you," Connor says.
"I love you more." I kiss him again, taking his hand in mine. His hands are perfect. I trace my thumb in his palm and lose focus. Connor is the only thing on my mind today and every other day. It's called love, and being in love with Connor is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
