The Day

I was walking around one Sunday afternoon and the skies were a brilliant blue and the sun was a great yellow. The sight was extraordinary and at that moment I was so happy to be there even if I didn't have one thing that I wanted the most, love. I was striding down the concrete and I saw a girl. She was amazing. That girl had green eyes, the most perfect smile, and what I thought had been the most perfect girl at that moment. But soon I was gonna find out that she wasn't so perfect. I was nervous because we were about to pass each other and I didn't want to miss out on a chance to say hi. So when we finally passed each other I quietly said "Hello" and gave her my biggest smile.
