It's been 2 months since me and Josh broke up. And honestly I did miss him, but I felt happier. The school had a Dance coming up, where couples would go together and dance and smooch, not everyone though, most went to have fun, but the majority were couples. Well unfortunately, I was single. I wasn't planning on going. Then, yes you guessed it, Brook. Brook convinced my dad I should go, and know my dad if forcing me to go. And theres no getting out of this dilemma. So today after school me and Brook were going shopping for a cute dress. Oh. And did I mention. Mandy and Josh were going to the dance together. Josh begin the football quarterback, set up this whole special thing in front of the school and asked her to the dance.
After school ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your dad had taken you and Brook shopping.
"I really don't think we should go, I mean it's only Freshman year, we still have the rest of the school year and 3 more years." I say.
"Oh come on Jules cheer up, we're going." Brook says.
"How about these ones girls." My dad pulls up 2 dresses.
"Ehhh" We both say.
"Okay I'll just sit over there, I'll leave to you girls." My dad says and sits down on a red sofa.
"Brook, I just don't have a good feeling about this dance." I say looking at a red dress.
"Jules, come on. Try that one on." She says to me taking the red dress off the rack and handing it to me. She takes a pink dress off the rack and we both go to the dressing room.
Seconds later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You both walk out in the dresses.
"Holy shit, Jules, you look hot." She chuckles. I laugh.
"That dress look cute on you Brook." I say.
"Wow, girls..you. Look. Amazing." My dad says.

"But don't you think it shows to much chest?" He says.
"Mr. Edwin, its a dance."
He looks at Brook.
"Right. Its just you and her. No guys?" He says. I look at Brook amd smile.
"No guys dad." I say. We ended up buying the dresses we tried on. And the rest of the day me and Brook hung out at my house.
The Night at the Dance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally tonight was the dance, me and Brook had gone to get pur makeup and hair done. We got dressed and dad drove us to the dance.
"We are going to have so much fun!" She says.
"I only came along for you." I say. Brook looks at me. She grabs my arm.
"Oh! Come on put a smile on your face, we're almost Sophomores in High School, Jules." I look at her and put a fake smile on my face. I really didnt want to be here.
"Come on lets see what they have to eat here. Cause I'm starving!" She said pulling as she walked. Then one of Josh's friends came up to me.
"Hey. Jules." I looked at him. Brook looks at me as she grabs a hand full of M&Ms from the bowl on the table.
"Wanna dance?" He asked. I looked at Brook, for an answer. He turns to look at Brook.
"Oh. Hey. I'm Kyle. Sorry." He sticks his hand oht for a hand shake, but Brooks hand were occupied with food. He chuckled.
"It's fine. Mind if I take her from you fir a few minutes?" You shake your head yes. Brook looks at you.
"No. No. Not at all. Take her." She said smiling. You rolled your eyes at her. He turns to face you. And sticks his hand out.
"Dance with me?" You looked at his hand and back at his eyes. Smile. And take his hand. He leads you to the dance floor.
"Umm..arent you Josh friend?" I say.
"I am yes. And I now you giys dated." He said.
"And you dont care?" I say curious.
"No. Why would I, he's moved on." You look at him and smile.
"Right." I say. His hands got lower each time we turned. "Um..Kyle? Right?" I say making sure i got his name right.
"Yes. Kyle is the name." He says with a smirk.
"Did you come here alone?"
"No. I came with the guys." He looks over at a table where they were all sitting. They all looked over including Josh. And i just refocused my eyes to Kyle and smiled at him.
"Maybe...i can take you out for dinner tonight?" He says. I looked at him shocked.
"What?" Was all I could say.
"Dinner?" He repeated himself.
"Umm...sure..why not.." He smiles. And we danced and talked all night. The longer I was with him the more attractive I found him. He was getting to friendly, and i fell for him. But I almost noticed a guy with beautiful blue eyes that kept staring but I didnt mind that cause I never seen him before. Kyle and I headed out from the dance a bit early, to early.

He took me back to where the bathrooms were, I was a little nervous, I knew in my gut that this was wrong but I kept walking, considering Kyle was one of Josh best friend. We walked in the bathroom, into a stall, and he emiditly connected his lips to mine, his lips were so soft and I could taste the strawberry Chapstick from his lips. And I slowly sinked in. And one thing lead to another. Eventually he took me out for dinner that same night I lost my virginity, to Kyle. Josh's best friend. He drove me home.
"Tonight was fun. Maybe we can hang soon." He said as I jump out of his car. He had that smirk on his face that just made me melt to the floor.
"Maybe." I responded. He chuckled. I shut the door and made my way to the door of my house and he drove off in his Jeep.
