'What do littles eat?'

Is what Jongin found himself asking when he was standing in the kitchen, trying to make an executive decision on what he should make for the little. Is pancake okay? Does he want bacon and eggs with his pancake? What if he prefers waffle instead? Maple syrup or nutella drizzling? This was hard. So after five minutes of stressing of over what to make for the little to eat, he decided, why not ask the little himself?

"Kyungie?" He asked as he walked over to a seated and obedient Kyungsoo who was sitting there patiently for Jongin to get him something to eat.

"Yes daddy?" Jongin flinched; he still wasn't used to that. Not yet, but he likes it. He told Kyungsoo he wanted be called daddy, so it shouldn't be a surprise to him, yet it still catches him off guard.

"What do you want to eat baby?" With big doe eyes, he looked at Jongin incredulously for a couple of seconds before directing them to the ceiling with his index finger on his chin, thinking solemnly on what he wanted 'his' daddy to prepare for him. 'Kyungie was never asked what he wanted before, he had to take what he got.' The younger thought to himself.

With a bright smile, arms flung up in the air; he answered Jongin's question. "Kyungie wants pancakes! With tons of chocolate and maple sywup on it! A-and bluebewy topping!"

Jongin smiled at the cute responds, god was Kyungsoo adorable. He has been holding back from playing with the burgundy males face and cooing at him so bad but it was becoming impossible. Kyungsoo's excitement dimmed down a little after as if he was afraid Jongin was going to.. scold him or something.

"Hey cutie, is something wrong?" Kyungsoo looked down at his feet that were clad in his hot pink ankle socks and nodded a no. The latter wasn't having it so he used his hand and lift the youngers face up gently so he was looking at him.

"Speak to me Kyungie."

"Kyungie is okay." No he wasn't but Jongin decided he wouldn't force him to be honest with him now, what he needed to focus on was gaining more trust from his intern. Kyungsoo smiled shyly to try and reassure the latter he was okay, so he smiled back at him and went on ahead to prepare the breakfast for his baby.

After getting the ingredients and making the batter, he couldn't help but realize that the apartment was eerily, still quiet. So he turned around and saw that Kyungsoo was still in the same spot he left him as if waiting on Jongin to dismiss him like he was some obedient pet, and he was far from that. While heating the pot and drizzling oil into it, he started his first batch of pancakes.

"Sweetie, why haven't you moved?" Jongin asked without looking at the little.

"B-because daddy didn't say Kyungie could move yet." Jongin frown slightly then revert back to a soft expression before he spoke.

"You don't have to wait on daddy to tell you that okay? Do what you want to do but just be careful and be a good boy. Can you promise me that?" He was looking at Kyungsoo to see his reaction and he got the cutest little worried expression from the little. He doesn't even realised he referred to himself as 'daddy'.

"Kyungie, come here." He opened his arms for the younger to hug him and with hesitant steps Kyungsoo was hugging Jongin around his waist in a matter of seconds and the taller returned the gesture, swaying him a little.

Some, rather, most of the details on what and what not to do had been discussed in Jongin's office the day Kyungsoo agreed to the arrangement between the both of them, but the little was still hesitant in certain things he does. Jongin wanted, no, needed the younger to be himself around him. This was just the start, he literally showed up around forty five minutes now and the younger is showing signs of something, something Jongin can't quite pinpoint.
