Taken off guard would be an understatement the moment Kyungsoo asked him the fatal question-- really it wasn't fatal for Jongin but to Kyungsoo, he knew it was. It didn't take much, in his shock state, for him to say yes. Kyungsoo is cute and this would also be Jongin's first time witnessing another little in action. And if all went well, maybe this will lead to something more with Kyungsoo, like him being his permanent caregiver.
"Okay, I have never been on a playdate before... what should I do?" Jongin asks, checking his hair from his phone screen, evening out his fluffy bangs. To think over several years of running his business and encountering the toughest and most stubbornest bosses to do business with and he thrived though that but now he's getting nervous out of the mere fact that he'll be attending a playdate.
"Is there a code of conduct? Or maybe a certain dress code? Am I little friendly? Do I look approachable? Shit, I knew I should have bought cookies." Jongin chanted, walking back and forth in the kitchen and all Kyungsoo did was stood and watch his boss as he lost his shit for something a simple as a playdate.
Shaking his head while slipping his backpack on, Kyungsoo titters, "um, sorry to break it to you but it's my playdate, not yours."
Jongin turned to Kyungsoo as soon as he heard his small voice, his little voice sounding in the slightest. During his rant, he had completely forgotten that Kyungsoo was actually there and that himself wasn't the one actually taking part in the said playdate.
The CEO chuckled, "yea, I forgot. I'm calm now." He says as he watched Kyungsoo slipped his pororo ankle socks on then his blue sneakers and was struggling to tie it.
"Jonginnie, help me.." Kyungsoo whined, giving up instantly as he stubbornly kicked his legs out. He should have just went with the strap on sneakers, even if it didn't particularly go with what he is wearing.
The tall male smiled, walking over to Kyungsoo and kneeling before him and handing his keys to the now, little Kyungie. Kyungsoo took the key without hesitation and started dangling and shaking them, loving the sound it made.
Jongin knotted the lace for both sneakers, it taking longer than usual because he couldn't help but look at the cute bright smile on the younger's lips. With a bit of struggle, Jongin stood back up and assisted Kyungsoo who was still fascinated by the jiggling of the keys.
"Are we finished here Kyungie? Do you need something before we leave?" Jongin asked, trying to retrieve his keys but it was proven futile.
"I need Poro and my pororo plate and sippy cup and blankie and a big big hug!" Kyungsoo exclaims, moving forward to wrap his arms around Jongin's waist. The CEO was caught off guard as he went off balance and caught it back quickly. He keeps forgetting Kyungsoo is very unpredictable in his little state.
"So, one big hug for Kyungie," Jongin huffs out while he hugged Kyungsoo tightly to fulfill his request. "And now, where are your stuff that you'll need?"
"In my bag! But Poro is on sofa." Kyungsoo states, moving out of the hug as he felt content with it to retrieve his pororo stuffie. He got it, hugging it close to his chest as he wedged a thumb into his mouth. Now this was knew to Jongin. "I'm ready daddy."
"O-oh, let's go." The tall male stuttered out and he slipped his shoes on and opened the door so Kyungsoo could get out first. However, before he left he ensured that Kyungsoo didn't forget anything else which he did.
He forgot his apple juice and lunch bag. Jongin chuckled as he went to collect it and then he was able to leave.
"Jonginnie!"
"I'm coming baby!"

Not even a second to spare, as soon as the door to the apartment was opened, Baekhyun grabbed Kyungsoo and went straight to his bedroom. At least he said a faint good morning before he dragged Kyungsoo out of his grasps.
