I missed Cody. After all stars I never saw him. I moved to Paris, France afterwards to continue my job as a wedding planner in the city of love. Every time I work another couple, I always planned it as if it was my own, with Cody. He's gone now. Every time I look around, I see Cody. He's my everything, and when he left, I felt like someone ripped out my guts, and threw them out. I dragged watching the weddings I planned. One day, I want to thank my wedding planner. Time is short. It's unkind. When will I find another man like Cody?
I went home to my little apartment with my roommate, Vikki. She's a drunkard woman addicted to sex with every guy she sees. I don't see her often, but tonight she was sitting on the couch in front of the tv, eating Cheeto puffs with salsa, and a bottle of beer by her side. I hand Vikki a look, and she ignores. I walk up the stairs and head straight to bed.
A couple of days later, I walk to the building and reach my office. Suddenly, I see a beautiful woman. Tall, fair, long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She's as skinny as a model, and immediately I notice she's rich, keeping her Michael Kors bag right by her side. She stands there, impatiently and nervous. She smiles and says, " I'm waiting for my fiancé. He had to go pee. I was going to go with him, but not here. It would be inappropriate. Anyway, I'm Celeste! Celeste Ish- I mean Anderson! Well, Anderson until I'm married!" I look and smile. I see Cody walk in.
He stops, in a panic. I start getting teary-eyed. I notice my palms are sweating, and I don't know what to say. "This is my fiancé, Cody! We want a beautiful wedding with many roses!" When Cody walked in the room I noticed a smoke scent. Did Cody start smoking, or does Celeste never shave her armpits? I smile, trying not to get annoyed by Celeste's fake British accent. I continue to stare.
Cody has changed. And not in a good way.
