I'm sitting home with Cody alone. Working. All of the sudden the baby kicks. Ouch. Again. Again. It starts pushing against me. At this point, I start to moan in pain and Cody even sees I'm hurt. He rushes over to me, trying to get me to tell him what's wrong. That's when my water broke.

"Get me to the hospital, NOW CODY!" I get up, waddling to the car. The pain feels almost unbearable. He is speeding down the streets, just so he could get me in time.
"Cody it really hurts. I think I'm not gonna make it. It wants OUT!!" I scream.
"Baby, it's okay. Five more minutes, stop pushing it out."
We make it at the hospital, and Cody takes me away on a wheelchair. He gets to a receptionist.
Cody tells him, "We need a private room for this baby."

"Sir, all the private rooms are taken. We only have semi-private." He fires back.

"No, this woman and I have seen hell, we deserve A FUCKING PRIVATE ROOM!" Cody yells.

"If I don't get to a room quick, I'm going to have this baby in this NON-PRIVATE HALL!" I yell at Cody.
Shortly, we are taken to a semi-private room, and I see Heather in there, once again. It's like I see her at the oddest times. No one is with her. We smile at each other. Was she pregnant too when I saw her at the restaurant? How many kids does she even have? After waiting for four hours, I am taking to the labour room. It's time.

"PUSH HARDER, YOU HAVE TO IF YOU WANT THIS BABY!" People are yelling at me. I'm squeezing Cody's hand, and he is just helping me breathe. There are about five doctors, but only one is actually getting the baby out of me. I'm sweating and crying and hurting so much, it's just so hard for me to think.
"It's coming out! There's the head... arms... hands... body!" Someone says.

"Yep, a girl! It's definitely a girl!" Cody yells in excitement.
I keep on pushing for about thirty minutes and the baby is born.
A beautiful baby girl.
I stare at her in awe, and then I give her to Cody. She's so beautiful and fragile I just love her so much.
"Does she have a name yet?" A doctor asks. Cody and I smile at each other. We've been discussing names and there's one in mind.
We say together:
"Charmaine."
