My Demon King

~Part 4~

Finally its recess time, i just went through 4 periods, 2 periods of math and 2 periods of English and I'm already sleepy.  Especially having math, it just sucks up all of my energy trying to solve the many equations and understanding it all. I'm not a straight A s student but i do try my best to score as close to an A as possible.

I pretty much ran out of math class the moment the teacher dismissed us and went straight to my locker . I checked my phone after putting my books away and saw i got a text from Noah.

Noah : How's your first day back in school?

Me: its okay, but math is still killing me. i still don't understand how some people can score straight A s for math and here i am just passing. i wanna score at least a B but its like so hard . struggles :(

Noah is a really great guy, even tho his busy and all, he still tries his best to text me or at least respond to me as fast as possible and i'm grateful for that and for him too.

I kept my phone in my pocket after responding to his message and headed straight to the cafeteria to get some food.

I grabbed a slice of pizza, a fruit salad and water before heading to where ally and the rest were sitting. I sat beside Xavier as I took a sip of my water, I've known Xavier since we were 11, his another close friend of mine.

I looked over at Xavier's tray and stole some of his fries as he playfully hits my head

"Ouch, xav! that hurts"

"Maybe you shouldn't have taken my fries then" he says as i pout and rub my head a little

"Meanie"

I start digging into my pizza, was it the best pizza no but it was okay. I finished my pizza in no time and went straight to eating the fruit salad as ally stands up and waves to Andy, a classmate of ours.

As i turned to look at him, i noticed someone standing beside him. I've never seen him in school before, he has to be a new student but why does he look so familiar....where have i seen him before?

I go back to eating my fruit salad as they walk over and Andy introduces the new guy to all of us . I looked up from my fruit salad as he started talking

"Hi, my name's Blake. It's a pleasure to meet you all"

His voice, its really familiar too...where have I heard it before .Everyone was introducing themselves to him as i zoned out thinking about where and when did i see him and hear his voice.

"Rosie!" I jumped a little as ally shouts my name

"yeah?" as i looked at her

"that's Rosie, shes a little blur at times...always thinking about i don't know what" as she tells Blake. I looked up at him and mumble a small hi.

I finished all my food and lean back a little before resting my head on Xavier's shoulder

"what are you doing?" he says as i looked up at him

"Let me rest here a little, i'm so full and sleepy" as i closed my eyes and relax a little

I took a small nap and regretted my decision straight away.

~nightmare~

I opened my eyes and it was dark, very dark.

'Hello?" I asked, looking  around

"Miss me little Rosie" i turned and saw him with his signature smirk planted on his face. That voice....

"Why are you? why...how...it's not even to close night time yet" i stepped back wanting to be as far away from him as possible

"Surprised . Ive let you have a rest but i'm back now and I've seen what you've been doing" I was frozen as he circled around me like a predator ready to jump on its prey.

I closed my eyes as i'm suddenly slammed against the wall "Playing around hm...how about another rule, do anything which is bad in my eye and one friend dies"

My eyes shot open wide as i heard what he said

"That's unfair! how would i know what is bad in your eyes"

"You don't, that's what makes it fun and i will eventually make your life a living hell once again or even worse. remember that" I looked up at him as i felt the tears coming, how could he...

'why me out of everyone why me!'

He just smirks and disappears as i wake up sweating, i pulled away from Xavier and ran out going to my locker wiping away my tears. I quickly grabbed my things and ran out of school as whatever he said replayed in my head over and over again like a broken recorder. I still don't understand...

why me?
