Deary Diary,

Wow it's been a week since I've written in this. Luke and I are really good, and my math grades are improving because of him. I go to his house almost every day, and we spend every weekend together. He's really sweet. He met my mom, and she was happy I finally have a friend. Our moms have gotten close. They are best friends now, and they are celebrating the fact that we are so close. I've never seen my mom where a bigger smile.

She thinks that by giving me a diary, that I have opened myself to friendships, though that's not what happened.I'll let her think that though, since this diary hasn't been all that bad. Sure, I can talk to Luke, but there are some things I can't talk to him about. Like the fact that I may be falling for my best friend.
